Your Role
A Design Manager at Gensler works with autonomy to be responsible for execution of a variety of project types and sizes and will lead all phases of projects. He or she will be involved in all phases of the project delivery and must have a working knowledge of this process with the ability to deliver the successful completion of a project. You will lead the relationships with the client, contractor, agencies, as well as engineering and specialty consultants. What You Will Do

Your Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture
* 10 + Years of Design Management experience in an Architecture firm, working on corporate interior projects
* Knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design / architectural projects
* Ability to provide excellent client service and assure project profitability
* Desire to mentor junior staff
* Strong programming and space planning skills
* High level of design competence and expertise in FF&E
* Knowledge of state and local building codes including accessibility
* Sustainable design experience, with a preference for hands-on LEED project participation and accreditation
* Computer savvy with moderate or better skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Project), and AutoCAD
* Revit, SketchUp and Photoshop skills are a benefit

Your Role
The Cash Operations Specialist role is within the Cash Operations team in either our Oakland, CA office or Denver, CO office (5 days a week). The Cash Operations team works in close collaboration with the Treasury team. The Cash Operations Specialist will be an integral part of global cash operations supporting the manager and team members on a variety of projects and initiatives.
What You Will Do
Process a high volume of Global/US payments including vendors, consultants, employee reimbursements, manual check requests, employee expense advances and any special handling payments (via check, Coupa Pay, ACH, Wire and electronic file delivery)
Review and identify client ACH/Wire payments using High Radius software daily
Maintain relationship with bank's client service associate
Monitoring bank account balances for weekly cash operations in partnership with the Treasury team
Verify and release check and ACH Positive Pay exception daily
General support to regional finance teams, including preparation of ad hoc reports, year-end audit documents
Full cycle of month-end processes including bank statements filing, month-end entries and account reconciliation
Provide assistance in documenting policies, procedures and controls
Backup and assist cash operations team members as needed
Liaison for Global/US entities ensuring cash operations processes operate smoothly, recommending process improvements, resolving the escalation of issues and payment inquiries, and collaborating with colleagues on special projects that support the business
Cross-train on Treasury functions
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent preferably in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field with 1 to 3 years of experience in the job offered or related role
Knowledge in Global or multi-currency payments processing and corporate banking systems including Kyriba Treasury Management System, CashPro, HSBCnet, JPMorgan.
Familiarity with F/X trading

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and implement Sustainable Design analysis, conceptual Energy Modeling, Sustainable consulting management, sustainable project management, proposal preparation, LEED Project Administration and Support compliance reporting.
Support consulting with multiple internal design teams on LEED and sustainable project attributes.
Assist clients, engineers and contractors with sustainable design research and implementation.
Support consulting with external clients on building and non-building projects and collaborating on firm wide sustainable design and consulting projects. Projects will include LEED-NC, LEED-EBOM, LEED-CI, LEED-HC, WELL and Fitwell. Projects may include development of sustainable design and operations guidelines, policies and procedures.
Support implementation of office green operations plan
Support goal setting and benchmarking projects under HOK's AIA 2030 commitment
Support preparation of materials for sustainable design awards.
Support sustainable design education program and LEED AP credential maintenance for the San Francisco/Seattle/Salt Lake City business
Take personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
Mentor team members.
Foster a commitment to external and internal client service.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in architecture, engineering, or sustainable design required, Master's degree preferred.
3+ years' experience.
LEED GA required; LEED AP with specialty highly desired.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Advanced knowledge of sustainability, building science, integrated design and 3rd party certification processes.
Proven visual and verbal presentation and communication skills to both team and client.
Experience with management of team/resources to undertake multiple projects or facets of various projects.
Strong organizational skills to manage documentation and information and meet deadlines.
Ability to work in team environment and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency with AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Grasshopper and/or related software.
Experience in and implementation skills relating to energy and environmental performance: Conceptual Energy Modeling; Environmental Analysis; Daylight Analysis; Renewable Energy Systems; Life Cycle Assessment and feasibility analysis required.
Proficiency in use of Performance Analysis software: Climate Studio, Ladybug/Pollination, Radiance, Therm and CFD required.
Proficiency in use of Energy Analysis software: EnergyPlus, IES preferred.
Proficiency in use of Embodied Carbon Analysis software: One Click LCA, Tally preferred.
OTHER:
Overtime may be required.

What You Will Do
Design and support customer engagement activities across a broad range of industries and services, which may include change management strategy, organizational development, campus and workplace strategy, experience strategy, data analytics, and real estate portfolio strategy.
Collaborate on complex strategy projects for a wide range of local and global clients.
Support development of emerging services and practice area aligned strategy offerings
Design and facilitate workshops (virtual and in-person) for groups ranging from 4 to 40+
Gather and interpret research to develop fresh ideas and user insights related to client business processes and performance objectives
Be responsible for content creation, preparing client presentations, reports, and recommendations for strategic solutions with guidance from Project/Strategy Director
Synthesize information and data into meaningful insights and narratives told through presentations, reports, posters, videos, websites, and other formats.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in either architecture, interior design, business administration, and/or organization development.
4+ years of professional experience, executing projects in one or more areas related to design strategy, space planning, management consulting, market research, corporate strategy, real estate services, product development or related
Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and virtual facilitation, communication and engagement platforms like Miro and Microsoft Teams
Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and Qualtrics are a plus Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required.

Engineers will be working as part of a team responsible for all aspects of engineering analysis and design on projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for engineering analysis of projects under the supervision of a Project Engineer. Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions.
Visit project sites during construction for reviews of quality, progress, and compliance with specifications and standards.
Responsible for the quality and timely delivery of the projects to budget.
Seeks input from more senior staff on technical matters to improve the overall project.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in engineering degree, Master's degree preferred
Licensed PE if MEP Engineer.
Licensed SE if Structural Engineer in states with SE license, PE or CE / PE in other states.
LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
One year project engineering experience on building engineering projects in a particular discipline. Three years' experience preferred.
Experience in working in integrated teams.
Experience in design and delivery of LEED Silver or higher projects.
Experience with architecturally significant buildings is a plus.
Experience with potential project types in commercial, corporate, institutional and civic, justice, aviation, and healthcare sectors is a plus.
Mechanical: Experience with analysis tools and energy modeling for mechanical design
