Director of Rural Health
The Director of Rural Medicine Programs plays a key leadership role in the development, direction, and management of MSU-CHM's rural medicine pathways, ensuring successful recruitment, admissions, and curricular programming for the Rural Community Health Program (RCHP), Rural Physician Program (RPP), and Rural Premedical Internship Program (R-PIPE). This position also provides faculty support, student mentorship, and coordinates outreach initiatives to enhance the college's rural medicine efforts. Roles and Responsibilities
45% Program Development and Leadership

Develop and direct all LRM certificate programming and courses and provide small group leadership for the RCHP cohort and R-PIPE program.
Recruit and train faculty to support rural certificate programming and lead small group activities for RCHP and other rural-related courses.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students in rural programs, ensuring their academic and professional development in rural medicine.
Partner with the Director of Rural Mission Pathways to align and enhance shared programming.

Lead statewide and national outreach efforts, advocating for and raising awareness of MSU-CHM's rural programs through scholarship, advocacy, and leadership.

Job Summary:
The Department of Neurology at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking to recruit a dynamic candidate to expand its clinical and/or basic science research programs within our Behavioral Section. The position is full time faculty, with the opportunity for academic promotion, which is determined on criteria of demonstrated excellence in the areas of education, research, clinical care, and community service. We are seeking individuals who are collaborative, communicative, caring, detail oriented, organized, proactive, able to think critically, focused on quality, dedicated to personal growth, and highly motivated.
The duties for this faculty position include teaching, research, clinical service, and administrative duties, leadership, and other roles. The overall distribution of such activities and allocation of responsibilities is determined by the Section Head based on section needs and faculty member skills, interests, appointments, and funding, amongst other appropriate considerations. Applicant must be willing to care for patients with a chronic, sometimes severe illness and be willing to perform procedures with training (including Lumbar punctures)
Specific responsibilities include providing subspecialty care to patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, and other neurodegenerative conditions. The section has numerous grants and contracts for clinical research alone and several members also collaborate on all studies a either principal investigator or co-investigator. The section's clinical research program represents a balance between contract studies and investigator-initiated studies including funding from NINDS, NMSS, and PCORI. Additional obligations include supervision of medical students, residents, fellows supervision of patient procedures, and teaching of the house-staff as well as students.
Teaching activities including attending neurology services, leading teaching conferences and training medical students, residents and fellows.
Research, scholarship, and educational activities derive from faculty member's specific interests related to the field of Behavioral Neurology. All faculty participate in academic endeavors, including the educational conferences, research and scholarly activities of the section and the department. The section and the department assist in developing individual, scholarly projects via access to and the assistance of the department's well-established research support infrastructure (centralized within the department), including 15-20 highly efficient research coordinators.
Administrative responsibilities will include data entry into hospital systems, development of critical pathways, committee work, and projects aimed at improving the section and department functions. It is assumed the bulk of this non-clinical time will be spent working toward the production of scholarship activities. Attendance at meetings and educational events of the department and sections programs is expected.
Other duties may be assigned as need arises.
Work Location: This role is hybrid; mostly located on campus but also includes some Telehealth remote work.

The Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS), located in the College of Health and Human Development at The Pennsylvania State University, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Human Development and Family Studies. We seek a scholar whose work meaningfully advances the science and practice of caring, compassion, and human flourishing, particularly in the context of child development and education-based intervention. The successful candidate will contribute to and benefit from Penn State's vibrant ecosystem of interdisciplinary research on prevention, positive youth development and developmental science. We are particularly interested in applicants whose scholarship focuses on intervention or implementation efforts that promote caring, compassion, social-emotional and human flourishing supports for children and youth in educational or early childhood settings. Candidates tenured at their current institution will be considered for tenure on entry.
A successful Associate or Full Professor candidate is also anticipated to assume the Bennett Pierce Endowed Professorship of Caring and Compassion. The Bennett Pierce Endowed Professorship is supported by a gift from Edna Bennett Pierce & Bud Pierce, whose philanthropy also established the Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center-one of multiple endowments in prevention, caring & compassion established by the family. The professorship offers generous research funding and is embedded within an interdisciplinary environment committed to improving lives through prevention and human connection. Endowed professorships are reviewed every five years, with productive candidates expected to continue their appointments.

* Develop and sustain an internationally recognized, externally funded research program
