Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program Director

The Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program Director is a key leadership position that oversees the strategic direction of the Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program at Geisinger Lewistown. As a certified Preventive Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for leading the program's accreditation process, recruiting and selecting residents and faculty, and ensuring the quality of education and research output.
Responsibilities:

* Lead the strategic direction of the Public Health and General Preventive Medicine Residency Program

* Maintain program accreditation in accordance with ACGME RRC and relevant boards

* Recruit, interview, and select residents and faculty

* Develop and implement resident performance evaluations based on ACGME Milestones

* Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum

* Ensure faculty development and participation in scholarly activities

* Oversee didactic education and ensure compliance with institutional requirements

* Participate in research, scholarly activities, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

* Specialty expertise and documented educational and administrative experience

* Current certification from the American Board of Preventive Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine

* Current medical licensure and appropriate medical staff appointment

* Minimum of three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience
