Per Diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Overview:


Nuvance Health is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our employed medical group at our Norwalk Hospital location in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut. As a per diem CRNA, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic learning environment and provide 24/7 coverage for a variety of cases, including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics.
Responsibilities:

* Provide anesthesia care to patients in a variety of settings, including the operating room, recovery room, and emergency department

* Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

* Participate in cross-coverage of Danbury and New Milford Hospitals as needed

* Teach and mentor CRNA students, medical students, and residents

* Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development

Qualifications:

* Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a current certification

* Must have a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Connecticut

* Must have experience in providing anesthesia care in a variety of settings

* Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

* Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills
