+ Maintaining Equipment and Utilizing Your PLC Knowledge - You will be alternating in between troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and on the spot machine repair. Candidate must be able to maintain proper documentation, electrical upgrades, and make modifications and improvements.
+ Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating, analyzing and repairing electrical systems while working with PLC programming and other computer-based applications.
+ Driving Innovation and Communication - Actively improving plant efficiency and identifying cost saving opportunities. While maintaining an open dialogue with Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Mechanics and Operators, on day-to-day activities and long-term improvement projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Requires a State of Michigan Journeyman License along with demonstrated skills in PLCs, power controls, and instrumentation.
+ Strong emphasis on behavior-based safety systems.
+ Good Computer Skills including Office & SAP or ERP Maintenance system required.
+ AutoCAD and SAP experience highly preferred.
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ Electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (Food Manufacturing highly preferred)
+ Sitting, standing, walking, lifting and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day. Employees will be required to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Salary Range: $37.19/Hour base pay

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, low voltage communication systems, including installing devices, troubleshooting, programming and running medium to large projects

Responsibilities:
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify and resolve issues.
Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to detect hazards, defects, or necessary repairs while ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
Plan and execute the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local regulations.
Install ground leads and connect power cables to electrical equipment.
Route conduit through designated partitions, walls, or concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables to complete circuit connections.
Construct and fabricate parts, securing electrical boxes to walls for switches or outlets.
Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate documentation and transfer of service-related business data.
Conduct post-job inspections to ensure work areas are clean and customer property is respected.
Maintain the company vehicle by keeping it clean, organized, and in good condition.
Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience.
Must Have a Valid Michigan Journeyman's License
Experience in in residential service and maintenance operation.
Provide Electrical License number.
High school diploma or GED.
Associate degree in related field preferred.
Basic math and reading comprehension.
Knowledge of electrical field concepts, practices, best practices, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA 2023, Uniform Building Codes and the Michigan Residential Code.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Must have appropriate trade tools.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
