The helper role will assist the lead installation tech with the following tasks:
The typical job involves the demolition of a current tub or shower base and tile walls, followed by installation of new tub and shower base, acrylic wall panels, and installing new trim.
Other jobs require extended services such as installation of tile or vinyl flooring, installing vanity cabinets, faucets, mirrors, lighting, wainscoting, and re-setting toilets.

Lineman/Signalman Apprentice - Works to install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission systems, signals, and other assets of the Line and Signal Department. Position Requirements: The following skills will be considered in the selection of candidates for interviews:
High school or GED equivalent. Associate's degree in electrical field or apprenticeship credits are preferred but not required.
Eighteen (18) years of age.
Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving history. People who do not have a Class A Commercial Driver's License are required to obtain the same during their probationary period.
The work is physically demanding. Linemen/signalmen must be able to work outdoors in all weather situations, on uneven surfaces, lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds, and work on feet for up to ten (10) hours per day. Mechanical aptitude, good physical strength and endurance, good interpersonal skills when interacting with supervisors, fellow employees, and passengers.
Linemen/signalmen must be available for unplanned overtime and emergency call outs during off-duty hours.
Pass a post-offer physical examination, including drug and alcohol tests. You must be in good physical health to fulfill the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Flexible about unexpected changes in work assignments or priorities. Most of the work assignments will report to headquarters in Michigan City. However, applicants must have the flexibility to report for work at any location between South Bend, and Hegewisch, Illinois. Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
Experience in the electrical craft, including the use of tools associated with this work, is preferred but not required. Coursework equivalent acceptable.
Evidence of a work history showing ability to multi-task, balance priorities, initiative, and independent work is preferred but not required.
Schedule: The normal scheduled work hours are 0700 to 1530, Monday through Friday. It is expected that the position will be headquartered in Michigan City - though there is the possibility that the position may be headquartered at other locations based on the needs of the service. The District may furlough this position at any time based on the needs of the service. Mandatory overtime, weekend work, or a 4-10 work schedule may occur.
Salary and Benefits: The starting hourly rate for the position is $31.59. Benefits include a Railroad Retirement Board pension, vacation, personal days, and full medical benefit package. Details pursuant to federal law and the union contract. Employees must travel at their own expense between their home and their headquarters (Michigan City or as otherwise designated).
Work Environment: Work is indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Most work is during daylight hours but may be required at other times to address the needs of the service. Work is on significantly uneven surfaces and may require work on wet or slippery surfaces. Levels of activity vary from moderate to intense. Stressful situations may occur. Exposure to heat, humidity, cold, rain, and snow is common.

The Licensed Foreman I is responsible for supervising electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours)
Travel: 60-75%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
All previous classification requirements must be continually satisfied.
Maintains current licensing and training requirements.
Demonstrates ability to run medium-size projects (5-10 electricians) effectively.
Establish expectations and motivates crews to consistently meet or beat goals.
Consistently completes projects on time, within budget, and in a safe manner.
Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., foreman logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, time cards, etc.) in a timely manner.
Effectively manages resources (tools, equipment, staffing) within crew.
Reads and understands estimates, with the assistance of project management or superintendent, as a part of the installation and layout of a project.
Consistently provides feedback and coaching to crew members including utilizing the Field Evaluation form/process.
Takes the initiative to run a thorough ORM. Is conscious of safe and unsafe acts on the jobsite and addresses and eliminates hazards accordingly. Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.)
Actively mentors and develops others within projects and crews.
Supports usage of Faith internal resources to include, but not limited to Excellerate, Precon, APC, Productivity, Engineering, Estimating, etc.
Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR and/or Workforce Managers (PM if appropriate) to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken, and documentation completed.
Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Basic Job Functions:
The Nucor Steel Indiana/ Ivy Tech Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Programs are designed to teach maintenance fundamentals and train a person with a high school diploma (or GED) to the level of a maintenance electrical or mechanical technician within a two year training period. The training program is a compilation of education, culture, ideas, and current training programs that exist throughout Nucor. This training provides the necessary classroom instruction and includes structured hands on training to ensure the person is prepared to enter the workforce as an Electrical or Mechanical Technician. Responsibilities will include hands on assignments working with experienced Nucor Maintenance Team Members while maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Lineman/Signalman Apprentice - Works to install, maintain, and repair electrical transmission systems, signals, and other assets of the Line and Signal Department. Uses hand tools and machines to accomplish assigned tasks. Lifts and carries materials. Climbs poles as necessary. Cleans and clears District property of snow and ice if requested or in conjunction with other duties. Operates District vehicles that include, but are not limited to, vehicles that require a Commercial Driver's License. Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements: The following skills will be considered in the selection of candidates for interviews:
* High school or GED equivalent. Associate's degree in electrical field or apprenticeship credits are preferred but not required.
* Eighteen (18) years of age.
* Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving history. People who do not have a Class A Commercial Driver's License are required to obtain the same during their probationary period.
* The work is physically demanding. Linemen/signalmen must be able to work outdoors in all weather situations, on uneven surfaces, lift up to seventy-five (75) pounds, and work on feet for up to ten (10) hours per day. Mechanical aptitude, good physical strength and endurance, good interpersonal skills when interacting with supervisors, fellow employees, and passengers.
* Linemen/signalmen must be available for unplanned overtime and emergency call outs during off-duty hours.
* Pass a post-offer physical examination, including drug and alcohol tests. You must be in good physical health to fulfill the essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Flexible about unexpected changes in work assignments or priorities. Most of the work assignments will report to headquarters in Michigan City. However, applicants must have the flexibility to report for work at any location between South Bend, and Hegewisch, Illinois. Reliable transportation to and from work is essential.
* Experience in the electrical craft, including the use of tools associated with this work, is preferred but not required. Coursework equivalent acceptable.
* Evidence of a work history showing ability to multi-task, balance priorities, initiative, and independent work is preferred but not required.
Schedule: The normal scheduled work hours are 0700 to 1530, Monday through Friday. It is expected that the position will be headquartered in Michigan City - though there is the possibility that the position may be headquartered at other locations based on the needs of the service. The District may furlough this position at any time based on the needs of the service. Mandatory overtime, weekend work, or a 4-10 work schedule may occur.
Salary and Benefits: The starting hourly rate for the position is $31.59. Benefits include a Railroad Retirement Board pension, vacation, personal days, and full medical benefit package. Details pursuant to federal law and the union contract. Employees must travel at their own expense between their home and their headquarters (Michigan City or as otherwise designated).
Work Environment: Work is indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Most work is during daylight hours but may be required at other times to address the needs of the service. Work is on significantly uneven surfaces and may require work on wet or slippery surfaces. Levels of activity vary from moderate to intense. Stressful situations may occur. Exposure to heat, humidity, cold, rain, and snow is common.
