This focus allows us to separate from the competition, redefine our industry, and grow our market share.
To support this company-wide transformation we've spent four years creating and implementing a Program Management Office (PMO) to introduce new ways of working, project management best practices, and powerful but simple tools that have made us more effective, collaborative, and impactful. * Mentor, motivate, and lead project team leaders to ensure they take action and accountability for their assigned projects and workloads.
* Lead and manage critical cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, applying strong project management practices to ensure clear plans, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
* Manage and develop junior team members, providing oversight, coaching, and growth opportunities.

Interior Designer II
K. Hovnanian Companies job in New York, NY
While other top homebuilders are maintaining the status quo, we are focusing our energy on the single thing we can do the best: being a customer-centric homebuilder. Transitioning our company to act as one single $3 billion homebuilder with a common strategy and competitive advantage allows us to provide our customers a simple and transparent experience that delivers them a beautiful home at an incredible value. This focus allows us to redefine how an American home should look and feel.
That's because we believe that homes are more than just houses- and that the magic of a home is so much more than simply selecting granite and stainless steel! It's the intangible way that the materials are put together that make a home feel special. Design, intentionality, and aesthetics matter.
As one of the nation's top 10 builders, K. Hovnanian constructs over 7,000 homes each year. We are committed to building homes where people will experience the most important moments of their lives. To help us accomplish our mission we are launching a groundbreaking new Interior Design initiative called "Looks" to help our customers navigate interior style choices and envision. We want to build our new designs everywhere from rural Ohio to Southern California, and we have the national standing to make this a reality. But we've only just begun…
Working out of our office in the West Village, you'll join a small team of design enthusiasts who are working every day to push the conversation forward. Consider this a startup company within a large established organization, you will be part of the core Interiors Team and play a key role in re-imagining our company's current standards. This is a huge opportunity for our company and for the industry, and we want someone who shares our passion for raising the bar.
Do you ever think that housing in this country could be better? Ponder if good design was not only available to the 1%, but for millions of Americans? Wonder when you drive through endless cul-de-sacs in the suburbs, who built this and why does everything look dated? So do we.
We believe a home can be so much more than just shelter. We believe homes can be both beautiful and affordable, reflecting our modern lifestyles and diversity of families. Come join us on our mission to reinvent the American home.
As part of the team, you will co-create everything from on-trend interiors to new product designs, Club Houses and Model Homes. We are looking for someone with an experienced eye-for-design and wants to join an interiors team at a National Home Builder who impacts the lives of thousands of Americans each year.
We are looking for someone who is a natural culture-builder, who enjoys using their design skills to create connective tissue and organic ways of working across multiple teams (across corporate and in the field). Someone who is curious, collaborative, and compassionate. We empower all our designers to share their perspectives, own their creative point of view, and give feedback on the process and outcome - your engagement and excitement in the work matter.
If you can see yourself thriving in this scenario, then we hope you will apply to join our team!
We are looking for an interior designer (4+ years of experience) who is interested in being a key team member of an in-house design studio. You will collaborate in the creation and preparation of interior designs and virtual/3D models of residential structures, production of design documentation and presentations. Work will primarily focus on evolving the interior design Looks while developing new residential products for the future. Projects will span from Research, Pre-Design through Execution of the homes in our Communities, as well as assisting on Model Home Directives, Sales Tools and Marketing Strategies.
At K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC, we are committed to our people and provide an environment and programs that help our associates flourish. You can look forward to professional support, an annual salary of $95,000 - $110,000 plus bonus potential and extensive benefits-including medical/dental/vision coverage, discounts on mortgages and home appliances, and a 401(k) plan.
