I have proven expertise in building companies, products, and markets from start-up to IPO, overseeing and directing product development and management, sales and business development and product marketing.This has included collaborating with the start-up CEO to raise $17M in venture funding for a new energy business division where I led the sales, product delivery and integration.I have leveraged my ability to build rapport, influence, and buy-in with stakeholders and influencers such as venture capitalists, the business media, market analysts, and key partners/vendors such as JP Morgan, Foundation Capital, Market Watch, Aprilaire, and GreenTech Media.I have a proven ability to innovate, develop, market and sell award winning products and services in the consumer lifestyle electronics space, and the IOT (Internet of Things). For example I have lead matrix, distributed teams in the US and SE Asia to develop and launch 22 hardware and software product concurrently. I setup and managed remote product development centers in Bangalore, Seattle and San Jose.I have led development and launched global products through direct and in-direct channels with resellers and distributors. In my role in business development, I engaged in strategic and development partnerships with some of the worlds largest companies and brands such as Cisco, Best Buy, LG, Samsung, Sony, IBM, Philips, Kohler, Johnson Controls, Black & Decker, Siemens, Hunter Douglas, Pella, Pioneer, Yamaha, and Denon.
