MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curriculum as needed for special education students according to guidelines established in Individual Education Plans (IEP).
Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
Help students analyze and improve study methods and habits.
Be a positive role model for students; support mission of school district.

Position Purpose:
Responsibilities for this position include the preparation and analysis of hazardous waste samples using standard EPA and ASTM methods. Responsible for following established laboratory QA/QC protocols as well as performing routine calculations and data entry. Laboratory Instruments and procedures employed may include: GC, GC/MS, ICAP, Mercury Vapor Analyzer, Ion Chromatography, Parr Bomb calorimeters, pH meters, TOC analyzers, balances and various wet chemistry procedures. Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
Conduct all login procedures, both manual and electronic, of samples delivered to the laboratory, ensures proper labeling and paperwork.
Sub-sample a variety of waste materials, process and product samples and follows proper analytical methods required for compliance in accordance with established guidelines and training.
Conduct sample analysis on sub-samples per methods and procedures established by training and knowledge of analysis plans. Conducts QA/OC sample analysis and calibrations.
Ensure proper written and electronic documentation of all test results including QA/QC and audit sample documents prior to approval and completeness of summarizing data. Notifies appropriate supervisor or staff member of completed analysis.
Prepare reagent solutions, standards and other laboratory solutions as directed by supervisor or lead technician per guidance and training.
Maintenance of analytical equipment and documents in accordance with quality assurance and control compliance.
Gather appropriate paperwork for management approvals and notifies staff of any incomplete sections needing attention. Assists in compiling and reporting of analysis date including QA/QC data for review by staff.
Perform periodic audits of analytical logs to ensure regulatory compliance for completeness and accuracy.

Position Purpose:
Responsibilities for this position include the preparation and analysis of hazardous waste samples using standard EPA and ASTM methods. Responsible for following established laboratory QA/QC protocols as well as performing routine calculations and data entry. Laboratory Instruments and procedures employed may include: GC, GC/MS, ICAP, Mercury Vapor Analyzer, Ion Chromatography, Parr Bomb calorimeters, pH meters, TOC analyzers, balances and various wet chemistry procedures. Cleans and maintains instruments and work area. The position is working the afternoon schedule.
Primary Duties /Responsibilities:
Conduct all login procedures, both manual and electronic, of samples delivered to the laboratory, ensures proper labeling and paperwork.
Sub-sample a variety of waste materials, process and product samples and follows proper analytical methods required for compliance in accordance with established guidelines and training.
Conduct sample analysis on sub-samples per methods and procedures established by training and knowledge of analysis plans. Conducts QA/OC sample analysis and calibrations.
Ensure proper written and electronic documentation of all test results including QA/QC and audit sample documents prior to approval and completeness of summarizing data. Notifies appropriate supervisor or staff member of completed analysis.
Prepare reagent solutions, standards and other laboratory solutions as directed by supervisor or lead technician per guidance and training.
