Informs Supervisor on a timely basis all operational problems encountered and what action was taken to resolve the problems with recommendations to prevent reoccurrences. This includes the documentation of operation trouble spots to corrective action. Conducts oneself in a professional manner, working safely, taking precautions in preventing product and/or equipment damages and losses, cooperating with co-workers and maintaining good housekeeping practices at all times. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily as well as to pass the lab test. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred; General Education Degree (GED) required. One to three month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office Programs. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with co-workers and supervisors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; climb or balance; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to read specifications and warning labels and to sort products, distance vision to operate lift trucks, color vision to sort product color coding, peripheral vision to operate forklift and operate line, depth perception to go up or down stairs and ladders, and the ability to adjust focus to sort product, to read labels, and specifications. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock.
