• Perform or coordinate the implementation of Lab equipment Maintenance on Thermal heads, Chillers Scope or Analyzer Calibration and to maintain the SCBU Margin Silicon environment
• Perform or coordinate motherboard reworks and ASIC direct mount activity (in house and external) which includes collecting and provide motherboards to the External teams, creating support tickets, communicate directions and schedules to both external team and the requestor, provide status updates and then distribute complete reworks back to the requestors.
• Execute pass/fail testing as bandwidth allows
• Works on related projects or assignments as needed.
• Support ordering and Inventory control in Semi Custom Purchasing Request (SPR) System.

Protein Biochemistry / Structural Biology
Express, purify, and refold recombinant proteins from
E. coli
, yeast, cell cultures, and/or plants

PURPOSE

The demand for our service is growing, and to meet that demand, we are recruiting Lab Operators looking to explore opportunities in the biotech space and grow with our organization. Qualified candidates will receive comprehensive lab and safety training, allowing them the ability to run protocols in our Austin facility. These protocols are critical to sustaining the high-quality operations of the facility and provide experience working in ECLs unique, process-driven lab environment with our integrated software tools.
These are contract positions with a potential to convert to full-time ECL employees subject to meeting performance metrics. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a relevant bachelors degree may be considered for immediate full-time positions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments with defined success metrics and goals for teams and individuals
Ability to follow detailed written instruction required to successfully run stated protocols with minimal supervision
Keen attention to detail, highly organized, and diligent
Understands and follows all ECL and site-specific policies and procedures.
Willing to participate in continuous improvement and operation exercises
Strong computer skills and not intimidated to learn new systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts
Comply with all lab safety guidelines and use appropriate safety and protected devices when performing duties in the lab
Ability to work flexible shifts/hours (12.5 hours per day), as well as overtime as needed, which requires standing on lab floor for the duration of a work shift not including breaks.
Lifting and handling of materials used for experiments will be required, not to exceed OSHA guidelines
This role requires the operation of specific laboratory equipment that may pose safety hazards to individuals with certain medical conditions or implanted metal devices. Please consult with a healthcare provider if you have concerns about safely performing these tasks.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
1 - 3 years of experience working in either a laboratory environment or regulated manufacturing industry (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Biotechnology, Automotive, etc.)
Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices (GMP/GLP) environment
This is a non-exempt, contract-to-FTE role, with openings available for day & night shifts and the ability to start immediately. The hourly rate for this role is $20 - $26 per hour, depending on the experience.

Responsible for overall quality control (QC) of the project.
Assist with implementation of Project QA/QC Program and monitor for compliance.
Review and understand contract specifications, scope of work, and exclusions outlined in the contract and related industry standards.
Conduct inspections of workmanship and materials.
Administer the overall quality and assurance program.
Act in all quality assurance and control matters for the Company.
File reports and photo documentation
Attend contractor QA/QC meetings and monitor issues and concerns noted in the meeting minutes..
Conduct business with 100% integrity and professionalism
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
1-3 years of heavy civil construction experience, preferably in dam, reservoir, landfill, wastewater treatment plants preferred.
Experience and knowledge of Army Corp of Engineer projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
