+ Perform paddling functions to enhance the quality level of the various galvanized products using air guns to blow off zinc needles

**Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:**

Understand, observe and enforce the cooperatives safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions to department supervisor and/or safety department personnel.
Climb and/or fell trees in order to remove branches which are interfering or have the potential to interfere with electric power lines. Mow, trim, or cut as is necessary to clear right-of-way. Dispose of waste and brush appropriately.
Safely operate a chain saw and other cutting equipment required to perform right-of-way clearance. Operate other equipment such as company vehicle, brush chipper, Ariel bucket truck, skid steer and tractor and observe all safety practices.
Treat members and the general public with respect and display professional and courteous member relations. Notify homeowners when right-of-way crews are working in a given area through the placement of door knockers or other approved notification methods approved by the cooperative.
Properly place appropriate road signs, traffic cones, barricades and rotating beacons along the right-of-way on highways and roads and flag traffic when required.
Perform work after regular working hours and on Saturdays, Sundays, and company-observed holidays and respond quickly to all outage and emergency situations when requested.

The general laborer's responsibilities are to take care of the project. He will perform this duty by sweeping, brooming, raking, shoveling, lining out the job, sealcoating, crack sealing, tying rebar, setting up frames, and more.
Throughout the shift, the laborers will maintain cleanliness around the project, shoveling up any spilled materials that could negatively affect the appearance of the job site.
At the end of the shift, the general laborers become maintenance men. They will help with cleaning up equipment, ensuring it's wiped down and free of materials that create problems later. The laborers will clean the tools and return them to the tool truck for safekeeping overnight. Don't forget to remove all spray cans and paint cans from equipment so vandals don't mark up your equipment at night. The laborers will also help with fueling the equipment at the end of the shift.

AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a General Laborer at our Chelsea facility. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will help handle and clean material through the galvanizing process, to help us meet customer commitments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for tying or assisting with tying material onto racks with wire or chain for safe movement through the galvanizing process.
Use wire to tie material to bow racks, universal racks, or other tooling to prepare for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for the galvanizing process.
Use rope to lift and prepare material for the pickling tanks using specific training methods for galvanizing process.
Operates and visually inspects all equipment (i.e. forklifts, cranes, tooling, etc.) prior to usage to ensure no maintenance is needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of carpentry, construction, and hardware experience.
Must have experience installing doors and hardware on commercial construction projects.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Ability to take accurate measurements using and reading tape measures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment safely.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
Pursuant to the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to Baldwin & Shell standards and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial construction.
