Gerelco Traffic Controls -we are specialty contractors that provide installation services for highway lighting, signage, traffic signal intersections, and complete (ITS) Intelligent Traffic Systems. We have a drill shaft crew able to create the foundations and install any sign from a single sign post to a large cantilever structure. Essential Functions Cleanup of construction site as needed, by removing and properly disposing of construction debris, rubble, waste materials and other site hazards Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up. Add and/or remove fill on jobsite Set braces to support trenches or excavation areas Assist in bending conduit and pulling wire Unload trucks, receive deliveries and transfer materials throughout jobsite Maintain a safe, clean and secure job site by handling and storing materials and tools properly when not in use Operate equipment on the job site Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and vibration. The employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
