Key Responsibilities: * Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and harnesses according to engineering drawings, and specifications. * Using manual & powered tools to perform delicate tasks such as stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector assembly. * Conduct testing such as electrical continuity and HI POT testing on cable harness assemblies to ensure quality and compliance to requirements. * Read and interpret engineering documentation, including drawings, and wiring diagrams. * Inspect, verify, and document each step of the assembly process of components and finished products. To ensure quality standards are in accordance with engineering specifications. * Help improve manufacturing process by communicating problems or concerns. * Confirm all appropriate materials needed to complete a job, according to the Bill of Materials, are with the work order (i.e.: wire, hardware, and miscellaneous components) as well as printing out labels for each work order. * Utilize Lean & Continuous Improvement techniques to drive quality & productivity. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in electrical assembly or related field preferred. * 2 Years Experience with wire harness assembly, and able to read wire harness installation drawings/wiring diagrams/work instructions. * Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001 desired.
