About the Position...
The LoanServiceSpecialist I (LSS I) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities.
The LoanServiceSpecialist (LSS I) builds meaningful, collaborative, and effective relationships that reflect respect, integrity, and excellence with clients, colleagues, and the management team. Under general supervision, the LSS I is responsible for various loanservicing functions that are not limited to processing loan payments, including advances and pay downs, assisting with loan boarding and maintenance activities, and posting loans transactions timely and in accordance to Bank policies and procedures. While providing efficient and professional services to all clients, the LSS I monitors incoming mail and the LoanServicing email inbox to resolve and process general requests and forwards payoff demand requests to the LoanServiceSpecialist II for processing. Under limited supervision, the LoanServicing Operations Specialist - Non-Impounded (Temp) is responsible for providing outstanding support to the LoanServicing Department with respect to insurance for residential and consumer loans in accordance with specific instructions, policies, guidelines and procedures. Duties and responsibilities
Provide exceptional service to all customers.
Process credit loan applications and use product knowledge to present loan solutions to current and potential customers.

Monitor loans in process, maintain pipeline reports regularly and maintain an active role in team meetings.
Monitor, collect, and review required due diligence items as applicable
Engage and coordinate third party consultants for cost reviews and/or site inspections and ensure timely delivery of reports
Coordinate receipt of borrower draw request packages, review for accuracy and process funding in accordance with bank guidelines and documented disbursement requirements.

Work in partnership with deal team to review and analyze land surveys, construction contracts, construction schedules, environmental assessments, project cost reviews, building inspection reports, etc., to ensure all construction draws are funded in accordance with the required guidelines
Maintain loan files and draw files with sufficient documentation for third-party review and prepare files for timely audits
Analyze proposed construction budgets to ensure all appropriate project-related costs and sources of funds are accounted for
Analyze the final settlement statement and/or internal disbursement summary to confirm all fees paid at closing are included in the construction budget and the construction budget remains in balance at closing and throughout the construction loan term
Analyze and reconcile construction draw requests, including recommending approval of the funding draws and obtaining all required approvals
Analyze and review monthly site inspections and title endorsements, as applicable, to assess and identify project risks
Create and maintain a bank budget for tracking all construction draws and interest reserve advances in the form of an excel document or construction loan management system.
Practice clear and open communication with customers and internal partners via telephone, email, and in person during all phases of the draw process
Monitor and manage interest reserve budgets and payments until the budget is fully disbursed
