Duties & Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for the administrative duties of existing loans, including processing payments, generating, and posting payoffs
Monitoring loan maturity dates and reaching out to customers as necessary
A loanservicingspecialist may also be responsible for initiating any necessary procedures for delinquent accounts. setting up or maintaining databases with loan records
Perform a variety of clerical tasks (including data entry and updating loan files
Prepare payoff statements and send to the customer
Ensure all applicable loan documentation is uploaded to image repository system
Handle loans that are complex in nature ensuring all documentation is complied with
Answer questions pertaining to all areas of loanservicing including payment research, loan maturity, payoff amounts, cross collateralization agreements, etc.
This position is responsible for maintaining and updating critical loan data within the servicing system
Respond to phone calls/emails regarding questions on loan payment/transfer letters
Maintain high levels of customer service at all times
Qualifications:
Knowledgeable in Mortgage Terms- Promissory note, Deed Of trust, Appraisal - Preferred
Proficient in Word, Excel, and all Microsoft products
Customer oriented, able to contact customers and provide excellent follow-up and excellent customer service
Background in banking, mortgage, financial services & customer services - Required
Highly organized, and comfortable using database systems and common office software programs
Education:

GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the LoanServicing Supervisor & Officer within the servicing team and following established policies and procedures, perform all post-closing duties relating to the servicing of the Bank's commercial loan portfolio according to separation of duties established by the Department Head including but not limited to the following functional duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor the department's shared email in-boxes and platforms to ensure completion of delegated items.

Review and update Procedures and Job Aids to Assist management in ensuring loanservicing procedures adhere to bank policy and regulations.
Responsible for research, review, and resolution of any LoanServicing issues.
Assist in short-term and long-term projects.
Assist the CLS Supervisor in providing direction and guidance to staff in their assigned duties.
Assist the CLS Supervisor with training and development of the team.
Assist the CLS Supervisor and the Boarding team with complex research, review, and resolution of any Loan issues.
Review vendor invoices.
Provide general support, assistance, and backup for all servicing functions to include the following:
Rate Rollovers and Repricing
Establish new Rate Contract Sub-Notes

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college courses a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of commercial loanservicing experience required.
Skills/Ability: PC literate, proficiency with MS Office, knowledge of IBS loan system a plus, ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, bilingual (English, Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.

$28.85 - $36.06 / hour

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

* Has an expert knowledge of consumer lending products and services including all DMV transactions and ancillary insurance products to effectively refer Members to the appropriate area. * Possesses an expert level understanding of consumer lending servicing, identifying needs, researching escalated situations, making consultative recommendations, and processing Member requests.
* Communicate all consumer loan decisions (approvals and denials) to Members, advise them of all requirements necessary for loan approvals. Take an active advisor role with denials to understand when a loan should be reconsidered for an approval and advocate with support. Provide expert financial advice to the Member based on the denial codes/comments in an effort to help the Member garner an approval in the future.
* Handles expert level escalations (i.e. loan denial questions; intricate product questions, etc.) where Members are asking to escalate their situation to a higher level of authority. This includes working the escalation and/or advanced queues taking escalations from Members and teammembers. Position Overview
Arixa is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Processor. As a Loan Processor, you will play a critical role in the heart of our Private Lending Business. You'll be responsible for processing Bridge and Construction loans from application through closing to ensure a smooth process, including receiving Letter of Intent (LOI) and obtaining all documentation required for underwriting, approval, and closing. You'll work directly with Client Relation Managers and Underwriters to process requests efficiently and accurately. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Provide support to Client Relations and Underwriting teams by ensuring timely and accurate processing, documentation and closing of new loans and modifications
Maintain an active loan pipeline to ensure key dates and timelines are met, track LOI's received and all corresponding documentation necessary to process loan from initial set-up through closing
Review and reconcile all documentation to ensure accuracy of data in Salesforce
Order, review, and track all third-party reports such as flood determination, Funding Shield and property insurance. Ensure property insurance meets Arixa's requirements
Order payoff demands and any other items required to clear title exceptions
Open Escrow and Title, order indemnity package on construction loans. Work closely with Escrow and Title to coordinate closings and clear any hurdles that could delay funding
Follow up on open underwriting conditions throughout the loan process and satisfy prior to clear to closeor funding
Coordinate and/or support Loan Originators, Client Relations Managers, Underwriters, and Closers on various items needed to process and close the loan
Input proper loan information into Salesforce
Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-pace environment
Work on special projects as needed or other duties as may be assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required.
4 to 5 years of processing, account management, or operation fulfillment experience required, preferably in private lending.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with strong initiative.
Knowledge of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations.
Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills while adapting to change quickly.

The Real Estate Loan Processor is responsible for gathering, reviewing, and packaging documents for real estate mortgage loans that conform to secondary market guidelines. Performs credit qualifications by utilizing secondary market standards and credit union policies and procedures.
Assumes responsibility for Real Estate Departments' regular duties required by business needs.
Updates and confirms loan origination system is current relative to loan status, conversation and any communications or documentation received.
Review files for accuracy and timelines.
Verifies acceptable homeowner and flood insurance coverages.
