The loan servicing specialist is responsible for providing primary support to internal and external customers over the telephone and email along with analyzing, researching and processing semi-complex transactions to include loan payoffs, daily report review, collateral tracking, participation loan payments. Compensation: Minimum $ 21.08 Maximum $ 30.11 Placement in the pay scale will be determined by experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Provide support to internal and external customers over the telephone and email utilizing professional phone etiquette and business communication skills; handle escalated servicing calls and inquiries to successful resolution. Process loan payments, incoming wires, escrow disbursements, and advances for all loan types. Analyze general payment discrepancies; facilitate general problem solving for internal and external customers, and ensure accuracy of the corrections in a timely manner. Ensure appropriate collateral documentation is received, filed, and maintained, by monitoring tickler reports; follow-up on pending documentation, which may require calling title companies, researching UCC's filings and collecting insurance. Calculating payoff statements upon request, determine release fees, prepayment fees and other outstanding fees to be included in payoff statement. Post payoff transactions accurately to the loan system and process all paid off/closed loan files per department procedures. Process the release or all types of collateral and supporting services. Review and analyze daily reports and clear exceptions. Perform file maintenance activities, i.e. automatic payments, tax registration and UCC filings. Assist in processing participation and government guaranteed loan transactions. Ensure accurate balancing, reporting and remittance. Setup/maintain business physical and electronic loan files as needed. Qualifications · Knowledge of loan documents (Promissory Note, Loan Agreement, Guaranty, etc.). · Strong working knowledge of a variety of collateral security methods and documentation including knowledge of UCC's, title, escrow, taxes, insurance and real estate documentation relating to commercial real estate. · Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. · Ability to maintain high attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills. · Ability/willingness to work independently and collectively in a team environment. · Proven motivated/self-starter who is flexible and able to adapt quickly to a change in priorities/tasks and a willingness to accept additional responsibilities as opportunities arise. · Requires basic arithmetic skills, knowledge of operational procedures, practices and policies. · Thorough knowledge of credit union, state and federal policies, procedures and laws regarding lending. · Federal and state consumer and commercial lending regulations. · Fixed, adjustable-rate, consumer, real estate and business loans. Responsibilities - Provide support to internal and external customers over the telephone and email utilizing professional phone etiquette and business communication skills; handle escalated servicing calls and inquiries to successful resolution. - Process loan payments, incoming wires, escrow disbursements, and advances for all loan types. - Analyze general payment discrepancies; facilitate general problem solving for internal and external customers, and ensure accuracy of the corrections in a timely manner. - Ensure appropriate collateral documentation is received, filed, and maintained, by monitoring tickler reports; follow-up on pending documentation, which may require calling title companies, researching UCC's filings and collecting insurance. - Calculating payoff statements upon request, determine release fees, prepayment fees and other outstanding fees to be included in payoff statement. - Post payoff transactions accurately to the loan system and process all paid off/closed loan files per department procedures. - Process the release or all types of collateral and supporting services. - Review and analyze daily reports and clear exceptions. - Perform file maintenance activities, i.e. automatic payments, tax registration and UCC filings. - Assist in processing participation and government guaranteed loan transactions. Ensure accurate balancing, reporting and remittance. - Setup/maintain business physical and electronic loan files as needed.

Position Summary The position of Junior Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and packaging of consumer loans from the beginning of the application to funding by working closely with the Mortgage Loan Originator(s) and Fintech partners through the entire loan process. Partners with the Mortgage Loan Originator(s), Credit Administration and Loan Operations to successfully implement new consumer products and services. This position is located in our downtown Seattle office and requires full-time, in-person work. Essential Duties * Physically attending work on a set and predictable schedule is an essential function of this job. * Process consumer mortgage loans and home equity lines of credit under various programs in a quality consistent with all company policies and procedures as well as meeting all regulatory requirements. * Maintain a pipeline of loans and is responsible for the timely and compliant flow of such loans through the process. * Enter all required data and documentation into loan origination system, follow-up and communicate with clients, business partners and the Mortgage Loan Originator(s) to obtain missing or updated documentation to process the mortgage loan file in a timely manner. * Request and review required documentation, including credit reports, title reports, appraisals, tax returns, verifications of employment/assets, flood certification, etc., and ensure the information is complete, accurate and comply with company standards, applicable regulations, and guidelines. * Ensure that the loan funding process is performed accurately, on time, and that all applicable departments are kept abreast of the funding * Assist with the implementation of new consumer loan products, services and fintech partnerships * Ensure that all system issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner. * Assist Loan Operations Manager & Consumer Loan Operations Lead with special projects related to streamlining loan workflow, creating/updating procedures and maintaining systems. * Provide reports as needed for Management and/or the Board. * Follow all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations and completed all required annual required or job-specific training. Requirements * Due to the collaborative nature of this position, it requires daily in-person work. [After a 90-day training period, this position allows for one day of work from home each week.] No exceptions will be granted. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university or three to five years of related experience and/or training. * Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, read, analyze and interpret documents and professional journals, understand procedures, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees. * Proficiency with personal computers and related software packages such as Word and Excel. * Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations. * High energy, self-motivated, and service-oriented attitude. * Ability to work on multiple projects with the flexibility for changing priorities; the ability to work with constant interruptions. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and assist other department needs. * Effective organizational and time management skills.
