The LoanServicingSpecialist is responsible for the accurate and timely servicing of the Bank's loan portfolio, as well as providing clerical support to the lending division and other areas within Loan Operations.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the initial setup of all loans (news/renewals/modifications) on the Bank's core processing system.
Daily processing of loan payments received, including participations bought and sold.
Daily reconcilement and clearance of loan related G/L's.
Monitor daily the Loan Admin e-mail inbox for loan transaction requests, research requests, etc. and process accordingly.
Establish initial collateral related exceptions/ticklers for items missing or needing ongoing follow-up (such as recorded documents, final title policies, UCC continuations, etc.).
Assist in maintaining the physical loan files, including uploading ancillary loan documents into the loan files in Nautilus.
Prepare payoff letters, upon request, from internal/external customers.
Assist in answering internal/external customers loan related questions, as well as perform system maintenance to ensure accuracy of loan data.
Follow-up on real estate tax payments and expired insurance (both hazard and flood), including force placing coverage (when needed) and adding related charges to the respective loans on the bank's core processing system.
Complete special projects assigned by management.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
Experience in Fiserv is preferred
High School education or GED equivalent
Minimum 2-4 years' experience with processing/servicing all types of loans.
Able to prioritize workflow and handle shifting priorities
Detail oriented, well organized and demonstrates flexibility, versatility and good judgement
Has a proactive problem solving attitude, professionalism and effective communication skills.

What You'll Do
Our Processing Assistants provide administrative and processing assistance to Mortgage Loan Originators. These experts ensure efficient loan processing in all phases of the loan transaction process.
Responsibilities
Make copies of borrower information, file documents, prepare files for submission, schedule signing appointments, mail thank-you notes to customers and realtors, and perform other administrative duties as determined by the Mortgage Loan Originator.
Conduct preliminary research on the loan to help determine mortgage eligibility.
Assist in pre-qualifications and pre-approval orders.
Pull credit reports and run AUS, contacting the borrower for any additional required information.
Input data, setting up new customer files with application data.
Update and mine marketing database for new loans.
Update the Mortgage Loan Originator's database.
Assist Mortgage Loan Originators and other team members with clerical ad hoc duties, as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 to 4-year college curriculum preferred
Minimum one year experience and/or training
Encompass experience or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Experience with Microsoft Office software
Familiar with mortgage lending industry
Understanding of Conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage products.
Exhibit a clear understanding of current RESPA laws and guidelines

In this role, the Loan Documentation Specialist will support lenders with preparation of all loan documents from the beginning through the closing process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review incoming new loan and renewal packages before documentation begins. Which includes reviewing for proper approvals, as well as reviewing supporting documents and reports in the packet to ensure adherence to bank policy

Prepare the signed loan documents with Debits and Credits for loanservice to complete the booking process.
Provides required compliance documents to lenders/loan coordinator in accordance with federal regulations and adherence to compliance policies
