5. Warehouses/transports in-process or finished goods from work center to work center; locates and pulls material from location and distributes to various work centers/dock locations in a timely manner in support of manufacturing operation; performs piece and weight counts using electronic scales; prepares necessary forms to track materials being moved from and to work centers. May use computer or scanner to assist in determining warehouse stocking positions and to ensure proper storage; verifies accuracy of information and paperwork is complete.
6. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment by performing visual checks and maintaining safety checklist; changes forklift batteries and/or refills LP gas tank as required; stacks/reorganizes material on skid prior to movement/storage.
7. Responsible for general housekeeping duties in work areas.
