Primary Responsibilities
Food Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees. All Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees must be aware of CCPs in their area and how to document them appropriately. All staff must report food safety and quality problems to their immediate supervisor in charge during their shift.
Retrieve fruit from yard as per the fruit picking schedule.
Unload fruit at the fruit receiving station.
Weigh fruit loads at the scale prior to delivery to the fruit receiving station.
Complete and sign manual fruit log, located in the guard office.
Perform daily mechanical and safety checks on the shuttle car.
Perform clean up on fruit receiving ramp when ramp is not in use.
Provide the Fruit Receivers with break and lunch relief as required.
Follow all safety rules and practices including the wearing of all personal protective equipment.
Follow all food safety/quality and personal hygiene practices.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality and a positive attitude at all times.
Act professionally towards customers, vendors and other visitors to the plant.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
The Shuttle Truck driver does not require a driver's license. The shuttle truck can only be driven on Ventura Coastal property.

Logistics operator job in Visalia, CA
We are seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team in Manteca, CA. This position is within a cold storage environment, handling palletized food products for a leading logistics and distribution company. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent safety habits, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a High Reach Forklift safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve palletized products.
Load and unload trailers, staging areas, and storage racks up to 30 feet high.
Perform accurate inventory moves, replenishments, and order picks.
Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues immediately.
Follow all GMPs, OSHA, and food safety standards required in cold storage environments.
Maintain organization and cleanliness in assigned work areas.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience operating a High Reach Forklift in a warehouse or cold storage facility.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold/freezer environments.
Valid forklift certification (or willing to obtain through company training).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable transportation and attendance are required.
