Summary/Objective Dignitas Technologies is seeking a motivated Vehicle Operator Instructor. This position is contingent upon contract award. Essential Job Functions/Duties The individual has: Knowledge, skills and attributes to implement and evaluate instruction on the systems, subsystems, equipment controls and routine preventative maintenance functions at the operator level. Must be able to review and provide recommended changes to course curricula, lesson plans, student guides, and audio-visual aids in support of lesson material and examinations. They shall deliver instruction incident events identified for the Assault Amphibious Family of Vehicles (FOVs), and the associated training systems. Responsible to maintain and update their assigned periods of instruction and other administrative tasks associated with maintenance of the operator curriculum. Specific Skills The Vehicle Maintenance Instructor's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deliver instruction on ACV operations, including system/subsystem controls, operator-level maintenance, and waterborne procedures. Ensure all operator training meets the proficiency standards set by AATOPS 01-ACV2, including required swimming qualifications for waterborne vehicle operations. Conduct instruction on tasks such as inspections, PMCS, and technical references applicable to ACV operations and maintenance at the operator level. Maintain and update assigned periods of instruction, lesson plans, and training records in accordance with curriculum requirements. Review and provide recommendations for changes to training content, including lesson plans, student guides, visual aids, and evaluations. Support the delivery of training incident events and scenarios as defined within the ACV FoV programs and associated training systems. Utilize and reference current operator-level technical manuals and associated instructional materials. Perform administrative tasks related to curriculum maintenance and instructor responsibilities. Required Qualifications Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, including technical terminology related to operation, maintenance, and assembly/disassembly of vehicle systems. Demonstrated experience in instructing ACV or comparable combat vehicle operations. Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and technical references at the operator level. Strong instructional, communication, and evaluation skills. Required Education/Certifications Must be current USMC Swim Qualification Intermediate, or capable of qualifying as such. Must have a current SVET Qualification or capable of qualifying in the SVET. Preferred Education/Experience Preferred graduates of Instructor Development Course (IDC) and or Curriculum Developers Course (CDC). Prior Formal Learning Center experience is a plus. Clamp Forklift Operator - Recycled Paper Bale Handling (Outdoor Environment) The Clamp Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of compacted bales of recycled paper and cardboard in an outdoor environment. Using forklifts equipped with clamp attachments, this role supports the movement, loading, and unloading of bales for shipping, processing, and storage while maintaining safety and product integrity. Key Responsibilities: Operate clamp forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload bales of recycled paper and cardboard Securely transport bales across the yard and staging areas while preventing damage to equipment or product Adjust clamp pressure and forklift settings based on bale size, weight, and stability Work outdoors in various weather conditions, maintaining productivity and safety standards Follow hand signals and verbal directions to place bales accurately in designated areas Conduct routine forklift inspections and report mechanical or safety issues promptly Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (including day and night shifts) Overtime paid after 8 hours per shift Must be available for weekends, holidays, and rotating schedules as required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License required Forklift certification with clamp attachment experience strongly preferred Familiarity with handling compressed bales and outdoor stacking procedures Understanding of equipment load capacities and operating on uneven terrain Physical Requirements: Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: standing, walking, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, crouching, and repetitive motions Capable of handling heavy, compressed bales using clamp-equipped forklifts safely and effectively.
