Ensuring that MH line clearance procedures are adhered to. Assist in keeping professionalism and respect the standards of the working space. Assist in inventory accuracies are being maintained. Ensure all scrap procedures are being adhered to. Maintain proper storage of materials and indirect supplies. Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Verify Goods Received (GR) process steps are being accurately followed. Make sure materials are being staged properly and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) is being followed. Fill out inventory tags for restock of material after orders are complete. Assemble cartons and containers using appropriate hand tools. Assist with Package and seal molded and/or assembled product per company and customer specifications as needed. Verify labels and product stacked on skids per lot information and product specification. Ensure proper performance of equipment pertaining to resins and materials. Clean and maintain auxiliary material handling systems and support equipment, including gaylords and grinders. Maintain housekeeping of material loading areas and airlock. Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Plan so materials and color changes happen in a timely manner, according to production schedule. Perform Line clearances outside of the clean room. Maintain neat and orderly warehouse and staging areas, “5S”. Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including but not limited to forklift, pallet jack, and handcart. Package, Label, and stack product on skids per Lot information and product specification. Report any out of line conditions, damaged equipment to Supervisor or Maintenance. Retrieve packing material from warehouse. Responsibilities Operate RF scanner and other Company equipment On a daily basis inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift and other Company equipment Unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate areas. Receive product and troubleshoot problems to resolution Ensure accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate areas or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods, ensuring inventory transaction are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities Efficiently move products from locations to include trailers. Verify that the quality of product being sent outbound meets the customer expectations and report discoveries of non-conformance of product quality to Company standards Recommend measures to improve quality of service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment performance Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security measures are maintained Assist in physical inventory counts Ensure proper stock rotations. Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work environment that complies with OSHA, MSDS, and Company standards Enforce corporate policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required 0-2 years in a warehouse environment Experience in food manufacturing preferred Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
