Employees rotate through the job steps. Set the proper hooks on the overhead chain to support the product as it goes through the paint process. Load product onto the overhead hooks in an appropriate fashion to maximize paint coverage. Oversee the actual powder paint booth process and touch up with hand held powder guns at the end of the paint booth. Attach correct hardware packages to painted product. Unload product from the overhead hooks and place on or in appropriate racks or bins. Assemble products as they come off the line when needed and touch-up any areas of the painted product that did not get enough paint coverage. Job Tasks: Select appropriate hooks for upcoming product and space the hooks on the line in a manner that maximizes quality of the product and safety of all co-workers. Observe and adjust loaded product to maximize paint coverage and quality while maximizing the amount of product loaded on each set of hooks in a safe manner. Examine the product throughout the process to ensure it meets quality specifications. Ensure paint booth is operating properly and adjust as needed.
