Hexcel is currently seeking a Shipping Operator for our Casa Grande, AZ, USA location. Start rate: $25.00 Per Hour during the New Hire Orientation Period - normally 90 calendar days, then increases to $27.31 Per Hour. This position is on Swing shift (3:00PM to 11:00PM, Monday - Friday + O/T as required) and pays a $1.75 per hour shift premium.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
* Packages finished product in compliance with manufacturing and customer specifications. Makes crates, pallets, and boxes for shipping honeycomb products to customers.
* Determines if existing product needs to be palleted or crated.
* Uses due date list to select finished products to be packed.
* Utilizes sales order and sales order information to determine proper packaging methods.
* Verifies that all quantity and dimensions of finished product have been checked and signed-off by production.
* Moves material with forklift and uses hand tools, power saws, and air-powered equipment to construct boxes, crates, and pack product.
* Orders lumber, cardboard replenishments, and other packing material and work supplies.
* Must be able to read and understand routers, job copies, and sales orders.
* Inputs and receives information from a computer to log out test pieces, print sales orders and labels.
* Ensures that packaging meets customer specifications and expectations.
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.
* Minimum of one year experience required preferably in manufacturing. Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience in the Hexcel Casa Grande facility may substitute in lieu of one year experience. Previous Hexcel experience preferred.
* Must be proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
* Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Shipping Forklift Operator is responsible for safely loading outbound yogurt pallets, pulling and staging customer orders, and supporting warehouse and shipping operators using a stand-up forklift. Key responsibilities for this position include:
Operate a stand-up forklift to load outbound pallets onto trailers in accordance with shipping schedules.
Pull, stage, and verify orders using pick lists, RF scanners, and SAP WMS instructions.
Confirm correct SKU, flavor, pack size, lot codes, and expiration dates prior to shipment.
Ensure pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, and temperature protected.
Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure compliance.
Scan pallets and record inventory movements accurately in SAP WMS.
Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment or safety issues immediately.
Maintain clean and organized dock and staging areas to meet food safety requirements.

POSITION SCOPE
The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely delivering, moving, loading and unloading a variety of goods in warehouses and on construction sites.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles
Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility
