As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for organizing and transporting raw materials and finished products for the production lines or appropriate locations in the warehouse. Employees are expected to clean up spills immediately and keep the area free from debris and spills. Forklift Operators will: Load and unload trucks as needed. Load trucks with various products while assuring the products are correct. Label, transport, and stock finished product to the appropriate location in the warehouse. Load and unload inbound and/or outbound trucks. Sort and label freight while organizing by location. Responsible for all documentation including damaged freight. Will be responsible for proper stacking of freight to reduce damages. Perform inventory count based on BOL's when loading and unloading freight in addition to loading and unloading shipments and returns. Maintain cleanliness around dock area. Understand and implement safe, efficient freight handling and required lifting procedures. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: This is a second shift position. Availability to work four days a ten to twelve hours shifts and overtime hours as needed. Availability to work on five days and weekends as per production schedule. Preferably, Forklift license.
