The PDC is responsible for safely and efficiently managing finished goods inventory. 12-Hour Shift (4:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Thursday through Saturday & every 3rd Sunday. Starting Pay: $23.94 per hour In this role, you will: Follow all required procedures to safely operator a forklift Transporting materials/supplies to/from the production areas for storage and/or shipping Remove finished goods from palletizer to warehouse storage location. Loading, unloading and transporting raw materials, finished goods, equipment and supplies from semi trailers and railcars, Complete quality checks and required paperwork Transporting raw materials during product preparation to packaging lines. Providing routine and preventative maintenance Providing housekeeping to the equipment and work area. Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or potential improvements to the appropriate personnel. Participate in periodic deep-cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by supervisory staff. Understanding of production processes and a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to read and communicate in English. Must be able to handle different ingredients such as allergens (peanuts) and different proteins including pork products.
