Performs all Forklift activities as required. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed; maintain the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Hearing protection is required in certain areas of the plant

Ensure that all necessary inventory is available for production use and coordinate the ordering of material/inventory
Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operation and training of powered equipment with a clear understanding of forklift operations, weight capacities, and attachments
2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck
High school diploma or equivalent

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
Able to work well with and motivate a team

Responsible for all facets of forklift operations; including but not limited to the loading and unloading of Flatbed Trailers. This includes containers, kits, inventory, or any other item being shipped or received. Responsibilities may include other forklift operations when needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to complete forklift training and safely operate a 21,000 lb. capacity forklift
Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulations
Complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain records onsite
Notify Hub manager of needed forklift repairs
Fuel forklift
Maintain the forklift to ensure it is kept clean and in good repair
Follow AM SOP by printing routes & pulling ancillary when assigned
Utilize TMW Management System to add assigned containers and print / time stamp waybills, manifests, and trip sheets
Check Shipment documents for container assignment accuracy, make sure all loading checks are made, and are signed off on the manifest for each container
Maintain container inventory
Ensure that all full containers are staged appropriately to ensure timely loading on outbound trucks.
Inspect each container for PODs brand standards i.e. damaged or missing signs, structural damage, missing hardware
When required repair damaged containers
Assist Hub Manager with Routing when needed
Maintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routes
Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment
Hub / Yard clean up
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Ensure that all necessary inventory is available for production use and coordinate the ordering of material/inventory
Complete daily inspection of equipment and communicate maintenance needs or damage; charge/fill batteries
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operation and training of powered equipment with a clear understanding of forklift operations, weight capacities, and attachments
2+ years of steady experience operating a Reach Truck
High school diploma or equivalent
Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude

Check Shipment documents for container assignment accuracy, make sure all loading checks are made, and are signed off on the manifest for each container
Maintain container inventory
Ensure that all full containers are staged appropriately to ensure timely loading on outbound trucks.
Inspect each container for PODs brand standards i.e. damaged or missing signs, structural damage, missing hardware
When required repair damaged containers
Assist Hub Manager with Routing when needed
Maintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routes
Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment
Hub / Yard clean up
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
