KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE as required. Respond to alarms, identify, and troubleshoot issues. Verify back flushed materials are issued properly. Control and maintain scrap generated by production. Perform line clearances outside of the clean room. Fill out inventory tags for restock of material after orders are complete. Assemble cartons and containers using appropriate hand tools. Assist with Package and seal molded and/or assembled product per company and customer specifications as needed. Verify labels and product stacked on skids per lot information and product specification. Ensure proper performance of equipment pertaining to resins and materials. Clean and maintain auxiliary material handling systems and support equipment, including gaylords and grinders. Maintain housekeeping of material loading areas and airlock. Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Plan so materials and color changes happen in a timely manner, according to production schedule. Pay Rate: Minimum $16.20 hr. - Maximum $18.50 hr. Our wage ranges are based on paying competitively for our company's size and industry and are one part of the total compensation that may also include incentives, benefits, and other opportunities at PODS. In accordance with New York, Colorado, California, Washington and other applicable laws, PODS is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. This includes containers, kits, inventory, or any other item being shipped or received. Responsibilities may include other forklift operations when needed. During slow periods, forklift operator may be required to perform other non-forklift duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to complete forklift training and safely operate a 21,000 lb. capacity forklift Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulations Complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain records onsite Notify Hub manager of needed forklift repairs Fuel forklift Maintain the forklift to ensure it is kept clean and in good repair Follow AM SOP by printing routes & pulling ancillary when assigned Utilize TMW Management System to add assigned containers and print / time stamp waybills, manifests, and trip sheets Check Shipment documents for container assignment accuracy, make sure all loading checks are made, and are signed off on the manifest for each container Maintain container inventory Ensure that all full containers are staged appropriately to ensure timely loading on outbound trucks. Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device WORKING CONDITIONS Shift hours 600 - 1500; some additional hours may be required including Saturdays/Sundays; required to work overtime as needed. Travel requirements: Negligible Hub will NOT be climate controlled except for specific areas (Warehouse and Office). May be expected to work during inclement weather conditions.
