Documentation: Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used. Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Plumbing Service Technician or similar role.
Licenses: Valid driver's license. Valid plumbing license or certification as required by state regulations.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; physical stamina and dexterity. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75lbs. Frequently ascend/descend ladder and maintain balance.

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:

Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:

Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. Fleet Mechanic Level III will build on the duties from Diesel Mechanic I/II and become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.
HM183 will build on the duties of a Level III Diesel Mechanic, Certified as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMCSR's
Has been signing test forms as the Registered Inspector for at least 3 years.

* Accountability: Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
* Safety: Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
