Performing quality control and calibration of equipment for both accuracy & precision.
Troubleshooting of various lab instrumentation and automation.
Optimizing workflows and protocols to increase throughput, improve data quality, and/or reduce consumable consumption.
Assisting scientists to successfully develop, transfer and execute processes on the integrated platforms and ancillary equipment.
Efficiently manage execution of both scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance of robotic platforms and associated equipment by aligning both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are performed according to industry-leading scientific standards & accurately documented in SOPs.

Join our team as the Plastics Operator II. The Plastics Operator 2 may perform a variety of significant tasks and must be able to perform all general labor duties and Operator 1 tasks, which contribute to the overall quality and safety of POM Wonderful products and its employees. Also responsible for maintaining the bottle line with good-quality bareware bottles by performing duties, such as but not limited to: moving materials, verifying bottle dimensions and production counts, dumping Gaylords, removing defects as needed, changing over, setting up, and processing out defects. Communicate with fellow team members to coordinate production, repairs, changeovers, etc.

will do:
Accurate label creation of goods produced
Must follow all standard work procedures
Ability to work safely with chemicals
Ability to troubleshoot basic failure symptoms of the machinery
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
5s knowledge
Report any potential safety hazards to lead or Supervisor
Ensure all controlled documents are completed and accurate
Agility to move hands and arms in a high dexterity manner
Capable of operating blow molders (Sidel, Husky, Krones)
Ability to perform tool changes
Ability to lead and give direction to employees when needed
Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the production process
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with quality control team to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
Skills & experience that are necessary as our
Plastics Operator II
will include, but not limited to:
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Must have a flexible work schedule with some mandatory weekends and overtime.
Must have the ability to document and understand written sentences in work related documentations.
Communication skills, appropriately communicate with operation personnel, coworkers, and management.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining plastic molding machinery, particularly blow molders (Sidel, Husky, Krones).
Demonstrated experience in performing tool changes and basic troubleshooting of machinery.
Knowledge of quality control processes and ability to maintain accurate production records.
Familiarity with 5S methodology and lean manufacturing principles.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Ability to work in a team environment and lead others when necessary.
Qualifications
One to two years of related experience in plastics manufacturing or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED required. Technical certification in plastics technology is a plus.
Compensation: $19.50 an hour - Includes a .50 differential

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator (2nd shift) to set up, operate, and maintain machinery in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring equipment runs smoothly, producing high-quality parts or products according to specifications. Shift 2: 2-10:30pm
Compensation: $22.00/hour to $24.00/hour (depending on experience) + $1.00 Shift Differential
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor assigned machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety standards.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine job instructions.
Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy using measuring tools.
Record production data, including output, downtime, and defects.
Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product specifications and minimize waste.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to maintenance or supervisory staff.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
Skills / Qualifications
