What You'll Do

Start machine and observe flow of material through machine to detect irregular cutting and winding.
Responsible for maintenance and some repairs of rewind machine.
Operate slitter, placing correct dimensions and specification into the computer.
Fill orders for zone tape, sponge, and tubing.
Clean and maintain work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Inventory management of materials and finished goods in the converting area
Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system.

Material Handling:
Organize and supply packaging materials using forklift/pallet jack. Position flour bins (up to 600 lbs) and fill sifters.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform basic maintenance (blade changes, lubrication). Report equipment issues and write work notifications. Assist with preventive maintenance.
General Support:
Clean work areas, assist other line roles, and follow all safety, GMP, HACCP, CTS, and SQF protocols.

Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Thursday. Plus, the occasional Friday shift.
Your Role:
As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our production process. You'll have the chance to work in various departments including Small Batch, Large Batch, Varnish, Dispersions, Blackroom, Sheetfed/UV, and Tote Maintenance. Every day will bring new challenges and learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Create Quality Printing Ink: Follow precise formulas to craft high-quality printing ink tailored to each client's needs
Operate Mixers: Measure raw materials accurately and operate mixers to blend components
Batch Management: Weigh mixed batches of ink and fill client orders based on specified quantities
Forklift Operation: Must have sit-down forklift experience
Diverse Experience: While mixing/blending experience is a plus, any machine operating experience is a must
