ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.) Meet the production fulfillment needs of internal and external customers Setting up machine, utilizing variety of tooling, perform 1st piece inspection checks. Tool selection-Top tools & Jaws. Loading & Priming of Glue. Adjustments to pressure valve for Glue application. Perform Height adjustments with tooling & components. Program selection. Operator tooling PM's. Trouble shooting-Machine adjustments for required glue application. Ability to use standardized tools of measurement (Computerized Vision Measurements, arbor presses, depth indicators, go/no-go gages, and other standardized tools/ equipment Operate complex machinery safely, accurately, and efficiently per the work order and work instructions. Ability to Read, understand and follow work orders, specifications and “special” instructions as outlined on the work orders. Read, understand and complete all production department documentation and work instructions to the PEI-Genesis ISO9001 and AS9100 standard. Ability to use or learn basic computer skills. Work orders must be completed daily to meet Facility Promise Date and Cycle Time metrics Maintain a clean and orderly work area to eliminate FOD (Foreign Object Debris) Utilize necessary Kanban and FIFO methodologies. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Manual lifting up to 35 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 70 lbs. on occasion (with assistance). Repetitive detailed work with hands for 8+ hours of the day. Must have range of motion to push/pull lever up/down with moderate force Ability to sit or stand for up to 8+ hours. Be able to reach overhead with or without the aid of a ladder or step stool. Ability to Grip/Grasp at least 8 hours of the day.
