We are looking for qualified individuals to work our PM Machine Operator Shift, Monday through Friday, 3P to 11:30P. This position does feature a $2.00 per hour night shift differential.
Duties and Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Maintenance
Set up, operate, and monitor the RollPros Blackbird machine according to production specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal machine performance.
Adjust machine settings to maintain product consistency and quality.
Maintain production goals in machine operations, packaging, & labeling.
Packaging & Labeling Compliance
Ensure all packaging and labeling materials meet FDA and CGMP standards (21 CFR Part 211 Subpart G).
Conduct 100% visual or electronic inspection of labeling accuracy during or after packaging.
Maintain separation and identification of labeling materials by product type, strength, and dosage.
Document and report discrepancies in labeling or packaging operations.
Quality Assurance
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Record production data, including approved and rejected units, and maintain accurate logs.
Collaborate with QA and compliance teams to support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Education
At least 21 years of age.
Proven experience operating mechanical or automated production equipment
Blackbird or similar preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
Familiarity with FDA labeling and packaging regulations (FPLA, CGMP).
Attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
