SUMMARY The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of equipment in our fabrication shop. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES * Select correct machine settings for optimal processing operations. * Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications. * Select appropriate material type, stock size and dimensions as required. * Keep a clean, organized and safe work area. * Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage. REQUIREMENTS * Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings, symbols, and notes. * Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16". * Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time. * Possess attention to detail. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit a strong work ethic. * Must demonstrate professionalism and uphold our core values of being customer-centric and problem solvers. * Experience with CNC machines is preferred. * Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.
