Summary:
Operators are held responsible for the quality and quantity of their work. Perform all production activities including but not limited to: setting machines, making machine adjustments to yield good parts to specified dimensions, setting and measuring on all gages in accordance with prescribed methods, presenting parts to inspection areas that may be outside of the department, trouble shooting and correcting operating conditions, handling material without damage to product, the visual inspection of production parts and tooling, counting parts, changing tools/wheels/diamonds, completing documentation (such as routers, and discrepancy reports), and communicating with all personnel. THE OPPORTUNITY:
Under the direction of the Screenprint Supervisor and Trainer, this position is responsible for processing screenprint orders through preparing garments, applying inks through use of screenprint press, and making quality adjustments as necessary. This position will lead the Unloader and provide first steps in quality control. The operator is responsible for changing screens and setting up/cleaning ink for specific orders, and operating the screenprint press to produce the best t-shirts in the biz. The operator will help verify garment quality and ink design to achieve company standards, and will wow our customers by meeting department and company goals.

Role and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of piece of work, sequence operations, and setup requirements.
Perform set-up of machine, choosing the correcting cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for optimum productivity.
Run production, monitoring the machining process, checking parts throughout the run, making necessary adjustments to conform to specifications and maintaining tight tolerances throughout run.

Able to make minor changes to cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs
