Role Purpose:
The Production Operator is responsible for executing all aspects of solid-dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing, including dispensing, granulation, sifting, milling, drying, encapsulation, coating, compression, and equipment cleaning.
This role requires strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs, batch record accuracy, safety, and good housekeeping practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform commercial and non-commercial manufacturing activities according to schedule.
Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot solid-dosage pharmaceutical production equipment.
Follow all cGMP standards, SOPs, Safety Data Sheets, and Batch Records.
Maintain a clean, compliant manufacturing environment at all times.
Participate in quality investigations as needed.
Collaborate with production management and site support teams.
Complete all documentation clearly, accurately, and in English.

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently recruiting for a 2nd shift Machine Operator. This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Bordentown, NJ. 2nd shift operating hours are 3:30pm-12am M-F.

We're seeking a Machine Operator to join our Dayton, New Jersey team and support our high-performing production operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and committed to producing quality results in a fast-paced environment.
As a Machine Operator , you'll play a key role in keeping our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed filling and packaging equipment to ensure consistent performance.
Setting up and completing changeovers between product runs.
Performing basic preventive maintenance and promptly reporting any mechanical or quality concerns.
Monitoring product quality and line performance to achieve daily production and efficiency goals.
Following all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Performing other related tasks assigned to support plant operations .
What We're Looking For
At least one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on work environment (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing high-quality results.
A reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn and support others.
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical and be at least 18 years of age.
A high school diploma or equivalent education.
Shift (Multiple Openings)
6:30 pm - 7:00 am on a 2-2-3 rotation (two days on, two days off, three days on).
8:30pm-7:00pm Monday-Thursday
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift.
Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds as part of daily tasks.
Climb stairs, ladders, and platforms to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot equipment.
Bend, twist, and kneel as needed to access machinery and perform maintenance or operational duties.
Work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels.
Perform effectively in areas with high noise levels while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Robotics Operator will be responsible for processing clinical specimen for acceptability and maintain the operational condition of the automated instrument to deliver to the testing departments in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.
Pay Rate: $18.25/hr.
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with alternating Saturdays; 10pm-6:30am

Job Responsibilities
Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing
Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing
Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted
Data entry of patient information into the computer system for tracking purposes
Meet key production metrics and quality measures to ensure timely and accurate results
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities when required
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
Resolve and document any problem specimens
Handle and dispose of medical and chemical waste
Comply with applicable environmental health and safety policies and procedures
Operate automated instrumentation under supervision if necessary
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior specimen processing experience is preferred
Previous experience using automated equipment is a plus
Proficient computer and typing skills
Must pass standardized color vision test
Comfortable handling human biological specimens including blood, urine and tissue samples
Ability to lift up to 30lbs, work in protective equipment and sit/stand for long periods of time
Strong eye hand coordination in order to accurately identify specimens by touch and sight
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
High level of attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work overtime when needed
