Operates and sets up the Cold Form Cell which includes the Asahi, The Wash Tank, and Annealing Ovens, where extremely high level of fixture changes or set-ups occur. Sets up, operates, and performs specialized tasks such as loading programs, assembling and disassembling tooling in the Asahi. Operates under minimal or no supervision in this specialized process area. Must demonstrate a Safety 1st mentality, and the quality, service, and productivity consistently meets corporate expectations.
Qualifications: Specialized work area equipment or process experience on cold forming (extrusion) equipment or company product and secondary equipment or processes. Manual dexterity and mechanically inclined. Capable of training co-workers. Able to follow quality plans and work instructions. Uses a variety of common machine tools and gauges, calipers, etc. Reads blueprints.
Education and/or Experience: High school graduate or GED required. Requires 2 years minimum experience in machine operating or related manufacturing processes. Requires 2 years minimum experience using hand tools such as, sockets, wrenches and torque wrenches and the ability to read dial calipers and micrometers is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and support molding technicians and machine operators to ensure optimal performance and skill development.
Set up and adjust injection molding machines, robotics, and vision systems for production runs.
Troubleshoot machine start-up issues, robotic integration, and vision system errors.
Monitor production processes to ensure parts are being produced within specification and per approved parameters.
Perform or oversee machine changeovers, ensuring proper mold installation and material handling procedures are followed.

Ensure no material is used or moved unless it has a part number on it.

1. Operate, clean and maintain machine.
2. Ensure the safety of the crew by enforcing all safety procedures.
3. Manage changeovers and setups to ensure accurate runs.
4. Reduce shrink and loss by monitoring production area.
