Position Summary:
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in packing, picking, and shipping orders. You'll ensure compliance with all GMP and safety policies while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Packaging and Labeling: Accurately weigh tea using scales or machines, label packages neatly, and seal bags with precision.
Order Fulfillment: Pick products from inventory, pack securely, and prepare shipments with proper labeling and protection for breakables.
Quality Control: Maintain ownership of product quality during production.
Inventory Management: Move and record inventory, ensuring bin tags are accurate.
GMP Compliance: Complete required paperwork and adhere to safety policies.
Cross-Training: Support other production areas as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills and Attributes:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good attendance and reliability.
Basic reading and math skills.
Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
Strong sense of urgency and accountability.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. several times daily.
Push product carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
Stand or walk for extended periods.
Occasionally climb stairs.
