Observes, monitors, and adjusts machine as necessary. Positions, adjusts, and feeds material manually to complete orders. Reads work orders to determine product specifications or material requirements. Load spools of material onto machine. Notifies supervisor of equipment malfunction and works with maintenance if necessary to identify appropriate repairs. Forecasts ahead to accommodate spooling schedule and daily orders. Assemble spools and boxes as required. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and work instructions. Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in the planning and implementation of Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) -relevant measures (health, safety, and environment) to promote an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workspace. Ensure full adherence to the “Leader Standard Work” profile. Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner. Provide training to new and/or junior employees with a focus on training to the SOP, performing work in a safe & efficient manner, and product quality within control limits and/or specifications as required.
