This includes monitoring machine performance, adjusting settings to ensure quality control, and ensuring that the product meets specifications for thickness, width, and appearance. The operator works closely with the production team to ensure that all production goals are met efficiently and safely. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and monitor the rewinding machines to convert extruded plastic film into smaller rolls according to the customer specifications. Inspect finished rolls for defects such as wrinkles, holes, or uneven thickness. Ensure the quality of the finished product meets company standards. Adjust machine settings such as tension, speed, and tension bars to ensure optimal roll quality and performance. Set up and prepare rewinding machines for production runs, ensuring all necessary materials and tolls are available and that the machine is calibrates properly. Regularly inspect the rewound plastic film rolls for consistency in thickness, width, and finish, ensuring they meet required specifications. Monitor the production process to ensure that machinery operates efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
