Summary
This is a dynamic position that is highly visible to Renovo HTM colleagues and customer stakeholders. As a subject matter expert in imaging equipment, this role will perform repairs, maintain, and document the work in RenovoLive (CMMS). This is a dedicated role to one hospital facility that will be full-time onsite.
What you will do:
This role will be responsible for general troubleshooting and electrical/mechanical repairs
Leverage all standard test equipment for installations, calibrations, and planned maintenance:
Multimeter
Invasive and non-invasive X ray meter
Oscilloscope
Service software and keys
Dosimeter
Hand and power tools
AC line analyzer
Phantoms
Read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams
Maintain OEM equipment (for example: Siemens, Philips, GE, Canon, etc.) and record all work performed in Renovo's CMMS. Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs to any of the following: CT, MRI, X-Ray, C-arms, Fluoroscopy, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned under the leadership of a Renovo manager or supervisor
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience Imaging repairs and using with test equipment
Proficient with Microsoft and Google software applications (Word, Excel, Gmail, etc.)
Leverage electrical and mechanical skills to complete daily tasks
Interpret and utilize service manuals, schematics, and other applicable service information
Perform/document planned maintenance and repair of the diagnostic imaging equipment and systems

Summary:
Responsible for providing installation, technical repair and service work in the field or at the hub for equipment and systems, including ensuring equipment in trailers does not interfere with the safety of operation of the trucks and trailers on roadways. Lead or assist with the installation and servicing of medical imaging equipment and provide assistance to Service Engineers, Technicians as well as Apprentices. Repair, replace or install parts and devices with expertise as required.
Essential Functions:

Independently complete full mobile unit load inspection to ensure secure road safety, including PET-CT and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) secured to specifications, in addition to checking electrical system for fire hazards and safe operation, quarterly or at least bi-annually, or sooner if problems arise. Exercise discretion to identify whether repairs are needed and, if so, what repairs to make.
Complete safety checklist of mobile unit inspection to identify any abnormalities, weekly for local units, or at least 5-6 times per year for remote units. Exercise discretion to identify whether repairs are needed and, if so, what repairs to make.
Perform trouble shooting and field repairs.
Provide phone support for customers and CII clinical staff regarding technical issues in a professional and friendly manner.

Preparing equipment for customer installation, including staging system and testing for functionality including Packing, for PET/CT system, PET system, CT system, elution system, computer, laptop, dose calibrator, blood pressure monitor, ECG system, and systems for image data transfer.
Parts testing at hub locations.
Leading installation and deinstalls as required.
Support team members especially service technicians and service apprentices in their trouble shooting, training and guidance for field repairs or preventive maintenance.
Find spare parts if needed or support Inventory specialist in parts acquisition.
Conduct training classes for existing or new equipment service.
Inspect and report irregularities, cleanliness, defects of CII assets, including mobile and fixed sites.
Maintain tools and calibration requirements.

Notify superinetendent & field team of any irregularities
Closeout
Manage closeout process.
Job Qualifications:
• Strong written/verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to work with computers in word processing and property management software, preferably P6
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Design-build experience a plus
Job Requirements:
• BS or BA in one of the following fields: Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, Architecture, Architectural Engineering.
• Reliable transportation with a valid state-issued driver's license and current liability vehicle insurance
• Report to work on time with a neat and professional appearance and be courteous and pleasant to residents and associates at all times.
• Ability to clear a background screen, MVR, and drug test
Physical Demands:
Inspection of Property will include walking and climbing of stairs. The position may require lifting, carrying, and pushing, pulling 25 lbs. Occasionally, frequently up to 15 lbs. or negligible amounts regularly. Phone usage is also required, as is the need to speak professionally and clearly.

Team Description:
At Neuralink, we're engineering the future of automated surgeries, focusing on the safe and effective implantation of our groundbreaking Neuralink implant. Our team - a cross-functional mix of roboticists, engineers from various disciplines, and medical professionals - collaborates on developing a surgical flow from first principles. In this critical role, you'll straddle the cutting-edge worlds of robotics, software, and neuroscience.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
This is a new and foundational role for our team that will allow you to create new embedded systems from scratch while challenging and refining the old. As a Firmware Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass:
Developing and optimizing embedded software for robotic surgery applications
Streamlining our codebase by refining and, when necessary, retiring legacy embedded software
Rigorous testing and validation of software systems to meet the highest safety and reliability standards
Participating in peer code reviews
Writing drivers and applications to extend the functionality of our robotics
Specifying hardware and software choices as we develop future hardware platforms
Sharing your findings and progress with the team in a collaborative environment
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of success in a science or engineering field, evidenced by outstanding projects, innovations, or advanced problem-solving
Proven experience in software development, preferably with exposure to embedded systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Embedded Software Development:
2+ years of experience with embedded systems
Proficient with common communication protocols (SPI, UART, I2C, etc.)
Comfortable/working knowledge of more advanced protocols such as PCIe, MIPI CSI/DSI, USB, and 802.3
Proficient in at least one embedded language such as C, C++, or Rust
Proficient with embedded toolchains and workflow
Experience building and bringing-up MCUs or FPGAs
Experience with embedded stacks for ARM cores
Experience developing on embedded Linux platforms
Experience with embedded Linux kernel configuration and device tree setup
Experience with kernel driver development
Experience with ARM bootloaders
Experience coding drivers for actuators and sensors
Experience with high speed data acquisition and processing
Electrical Engineering:
Foundational understanding of MCU architectures and peripheral integration
Solid knowledge in electrical engineering and DSP
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and datasheets, along with proficiency in using lab equipment
Expected Compensation:
The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the following range. Your actual base pay will be determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We also believe in aligning our employees' success with the company's long-term growth. As such, in addition to base salary, Neuralink offers equity compensation (in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSU)) for all full-time employees.
Base Salary Range:$138,000-$300,000 USD
