This role requires strong proficiency in CAM software, solid modeling tools, and hands-on machining skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, develop effective machining strategies, and ensure parts meet exacting quality standards. Ideal candidates bring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and practical tooling knowledge, along with experience designing fixtures, verifying part accuracy, and managing unique machining challenges from concept through completion.
• 10 years' experience in a job shop environment programming and running parts OR
• 5 years' experience in a job shop environment programming and running parts and a Machine Tool Diploma from a Technical College
• Ability to program 3 and 4 axis CNC mills and 2 axis lathes
• Ability to set up and operate 3 and 4 axis mills and 2 axis lathes
• Knowledge of Haas Mill and Lathe controls a plus

+ Cross-train on all machines to prevent lapse in production flow including but not limited to engine lathes, manual drills, horizontal bandsaws, CNC lathes, VTLs, HBMs, and CNC mills.
+ Must understand material hardness, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, coolant requirements and machining techniques.
+ Interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T) per part drawings.
+ Potential for field assignments using in-line machine. Some travel may be required.
+ Adherence to all safety, quality, and environmental rules and regulations.
