Summary: The Machinist's role is to manufacture and/or replicate "one off" parts and perform repairs to existing parts by executing industry standard repair techniques. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Run manual machines including conventional open face lathes, lathe threading, Prototrak, Bridgeport mills, grinders, drill presses and other shop equipment.
Ensure equipment is effectively utilized to efficiently accomplish all work.
Complete Tool Room shop orders with the highest quality standard.
Interpret job specification blueprints and job orders to determine machine adjustment and material requirements.
Ensure daily production data, labor and quality recording is accurately compiled and reported daily.

Perform deburring operations on machined parts.
