Job Description Tool & Die Maker Who we are looking for: We are currently looking for a Tool & Die Maker to be based out of Wayne, MI. 2nd shift position for a candidate with experience. The Hourly wage rate for those holding a Journeyman card is $35.85. Those without a Journeyman card will start at $33.78. Reporting to the Tool & Die Manager, this person will be responsible for making and maintaining all types of tools, dies, and fixtures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Run manual machines including conventional open face lathes, lathe threading, Prototrak, Bridgeport mills, grinders, drill presses and other shop equipment. Interpret job specification blueprints and job orders to determine machine adjustment and material requirements.
