So, what will you be doing as a Toolmaker? Plan and execute manufacturing jobs to meet customer requirements. The level of planning will vary depending upon the customer and internal requirements. However, toolmakers will be capable of Translating customer engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) into logical processes to complete tasks Identifying material requirements and outside service provider requirements and communicating same to appropriate internal personnel. Inspecting parts, tools and paperwork, to ensure customer requirements are met. Completing inspection paperwork as necessary.
