Prove out new programs without programmer assistance, including checking tooling, setups, and program coordinates. Edit CNC programs to correct errors, improve quality, and shorten run times. Load, unload, and position workpieces; check conformity with dimensional specifications using gages, calipers, micrometers, etc. Detect improper machine operation or faulty parts and shut down machines as needed. Operate more than one machine under the proper conditions. Perform trigonometry and other required mathematical calculations. Complete conformance reports accurately. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Climb ladders, stairs, platforms, and ramps (up to 20% of the day). Move in various positions (up to 25% of the day). Stand or sit for extended periods (up to 25% of the day). Lift and move up to 25 lbs. (up to 20% of the day).
