Key Responsibilities
Collaborative Support:
Work alongside electro-mechanics and assist with minor repairs, reporting, and providing support to both the manager and the electro-mechanics team.
Technical Duties:
Perform a variety of tasks in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical domains.
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
Documentation & Reporting:
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and both written and verbal instructions.
Operate related equipment; conduct tests and record data in the prescribed format.
Maintenance & Calibration:
Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, or replacements as directed.
Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as needed.

Job Purpose

Principal Duties
Identify the different types, ply and denier of yarns used to supply the creel and filling yarns for manufacturing fabric.
Patrol work area to identify defects in yarn / fabric quality through visual inspection and make repairs as necessary.
Use proper weaving, creeling, set up, and splicing procedures utilizing air/wrap splicers and/or powered industrial truck and overhead crane.
Record and report production related data in Epicor.
Use proper flagging procedures for mechanical issues, communicate any malfunctions with affected co-workers.
Use proper Lockout Tagout procedures during any activity such as repairing, adjusting, lubricating or cleaning equipment.
Determine the layout of the creel and number of ends needed per scheduled order. Correctly draw harnesses, reeds, T-bars and guide boards to maintain a straight warp.
Measure, count, and record width, crimp, and picks using a tape measure and alert Production Supervisor of any out-of-spec conditions. Also, alert Production Supervisor when the roll of fabric is at the scheduled footage. Complete paperwork for proper identification for the next process.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S procedure, rules, and regulations. Stage work area for the organization of proper materials needed during the shift.
Use proper waste handling procedures so that at the end of the shift supplies are accurately in order for the following shift.
Maintain a good attendance record and adhere to the Attendance Policy. Adhere to Company Handbook, policies, and procedures.
Perform any other task deemed necessary.
Scope of Responsibility
The Weaving Production Operator is responsible for preparing and operating equipment to produce woven fabric to be used internally for industrial conveyor belting.

We are seeking motivated individuals to perform a variety of tasks in any number of areas in the operation including receiving, freezer, sanitation, deboning (by machine), and storage; by performing the following tasks:
Perform routine tasks involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, testing, or shipping a product
Load raw material into machinery that may grind, emulsify, mechanically debone, mix/blend and/or plate freeze product. Operate a series of control switches. Starts grinder and observe product flow for jams or blockages. Keep machine continuously supplied with product
Inspect product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines

Select, organize, and load pallets on trailers for all outgoing loads. Ensure loads are properly secured for shipment and within acceptable weight ranges. Ensure trailers are properly sealed with the seal provided by Company. Document all quality control procedures performed.
Store finished product in freezer according to storage guidelines. Conduct inventory and cycle counts.
Receive incoming frozen material that has been approved by management. Weight, prepare, and attach barcode label to each incoming pallet prior to placing material in freezer storage or per other procedure as determined by Plant Manager. Deliver labels and related incoming documents to office.
Ability to learn and operate the automated palletizer machine or manual palletizing process. Process may include:
Properly placing pallets in place to feed machine
Enter commands to start machine, watch and follow sequences and monitors for malfunctions, errors and obstructions that may interfere with proper operation. Correct machine settings using preprogrammed settings, or correcting obstructions and sensor activity.
Prepare proper production forms or reports noting weight of product using NEMO -computerized inventory system
