How You Will Contribute We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with PE leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies. Associates frequently assist with the following types of engagements: Gain a comprehensive understanding of a target's manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability. Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities Review current and historical data to understand efficiency & capacity, including equipment conditions, maintenance logs, spare parts and detailed production numbers. Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees and customers and reviewing all available data Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify key risks and mitigation strategies Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform diversified duties to ensure efficient performance of production packaging line Provide quality assurance by maintaining a close eye on product during production runs, while working in tandem with other members of the Production and Maintenance teams to maintain efficiency Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties while maintaining full compliance with food safety and quality standards Ensure quality product by discarding inferior or defective product and communicating continuing issues to the appropriate staff member and in a timely manner Ensure timely loading of fruit onto our production lines to maintain optimal machine performance Hand-pack finished goods into corrugated cases to maintain optimal machine performance Hand stack pallets per customer specification and operate stretch-wrapper or hand wrap finished pallets Complete production and quality control duties with acute attention to detail Ensures cleanliness of work area by removing recyclable materials and dumping waste in a timely manner Effectively communicate with members of staff at all levels in a professional manner Actively participate in company safety meetings and be a proponent of employee safety Follow all GMPs and all other company quality and food safety programs as they relate to the production department All other duties as assigned Competencies: Time Management Communication skills Team-work orientation Results-driven Initiative Position Type: This is a full-time position. Hours of work are: Monday-Friday 1st shift 6:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday-Friday 2nd shift 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm Maybe required to work Saturday depending on company needs Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities Travel Requirements: This position will require minimal travel, if any Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. Food manufacturing and packaging line experience preferred, but not required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 lbs.
