Job Description: Warehouse Attendant Key Responsibilities Follow written and oral work instructions to determine materials to be moved and location to which they are to be moved. Load, unload and move materials, supplies and products within the plant, yard or warehouse. Ship finished products. Pick Parts for internal and external orders Pack parts for internal and external orders Transport loads using various moving devices. Weigh materials and record information. Monitor materials and products. Receive inventory and goods. Document location of parts and components. Inventory materials. Maintain proper operating distance between equipment and fixed objects, such as racks and machines while operating fork trucks. Maintain proper operating speeds while in plant and warehouse while operating fork trucks. Maintain area in a safe and clean environment. Rotate tasks within the work group. Work extra hours to maintain production needs if necessary. Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills Position requires the ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions, to work accurately with numerical records, and to schedule time effectively.
