Warehouse Technician (Driving) The Warehouse Technician will process orders, prepare items for shipment and receive incoming inventory. Where applicable also responsible for cleaning and disinfecting returned equipment, cleaning room maintenance, stocking and staging inventory, and inventory maintenance. The technician assists the supervisor or manager in pulling and loading equipment for delivery in addition to assembly of equipment when necessary, maintaining confidentiality and all other aspects of HIPAA compliance are essential in this job. Employees in this position may also be requested to deliver equipment to patients and/or facilities. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: Performs data entry in appropriate applications, updates shipping information, and tracks orders. Completes clerical tasks including faxing, scanning, filing, and general phone calls. Prepares shipping containers in advance and creates labels. Reviews itemized customer lists; locates and assembles outgoing merchandise to fulfill requests. Verifies contents of outgoing packages against invoices or bills of lading. Receives and opens merchandise shipments, processes packing slips or invoices, and safely stores items. Documents returned items and cleans equipment following the Branch Maintenance and Cleaning Guidelines Retains knowledge of and consistently adheres to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardous materials handling. Routinely cleans warehouse area pursuant to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), discards waste material daily and maintains a clean facility. Assists in the stocking, tracking, and replenishment of inventory. Collects and delivers packages to the shipping area. Responsible for communicating actual and potential stock shortages or outages to the warehouse manager in a timely manner to assure adequate inventory level. Responsible for monitoring expiration dates to assure supplies are returned or re-inventoried per company guidelines. Delivering equipment (when requested): Follows Driving Policy and completes required driver training. The Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates a powered lift to move materials throughout the stages of production, warehouse, storage and shipping/receiving areas on a day-to-day basis. JOB SUMMARYThe Lift Truck Operator (LTO) operates a powered lift to move materials throughout the stages of production, warehouse, storage and shipping/receiving areas on a day-to-day basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReceiving: Using SAP EWM system and RF technology, accurately and efficiently inspect, receive dry good materials and process paperwork. Supply packaging lines with supplies needed to operate uninterrupted. Removes and stores finished product from production lines or inbound trucks and transfers to assigned locations. Re-warehousing to ensure maximum space utilization. Participate in physical inventory using SAP EWM system. Performs daily safety checks and maintenance of powered lift - to include but not limited to fueling, washing, and greasing. Assists in staging and outbound loading of trucks, as needed. Bilingual skills a plus.
