PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all incoming shipments.
- Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCOs computer system.
- Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate.
- Place received material, after segregating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations. When appropriate, relocate and consolidate material and notify management of new bon/table locations.
- Pull, pack, weigh and label materials for shipment (including assemble & hold orders).
- Prepare bills of lading and express receipts.
- Assist in loading the trucks.
- Prepare local delivery records and complete applicable blocks on the pick ticket.
- Maintain appropriate forms pending return of material.
- Inspect condition of returned material prior to completing return authorization forms.
- Pull stock and return it to the correct location pending credit memo, sale or return to supplier.
- Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area.
- Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves and tables as needed.
- Administer preventative maintenance programs to delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety practices for warehouse operations.
- Record verbal/written complaints from customers concerning dissatisfaction with product or service provided. Process the complaint by responding to the customer with the action taken to correct the problem or directing the complaint department supervisor/manager where necessary.
- Maintain counter stock as needed.
- May assist with over the counter sales.

Job Summary:
The Material Handler will verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare laboratory testing and kit items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material with robust quality control; receiving, unpacking, verifying and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.

Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
Use RF scanners to pick, verify, and place inventory for order fulfillment and storage
Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns

A day in the life: What you do
This role is responsible for end-to-end inventory controls, reporting, and inventory support for finished case goods. Specific job duties include:
Act as primary point of contact for customer and vendor ship contact and BOL receipts and signoffs

High School or GED preferred.
0-3 years of general work experience required.
1+ years prior warehouse/stocking/forklift experience preferred.
Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment a plus.
Ability to operator a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
Demonstrated attention to detail. Forklift certification is required.

We are currently looking to hire a Night Shift Lift Operator to join our growing team. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of inventory in our warehouse, ensuring that our products move efficiently from arrival to delivery. Shift Time: 5:00PM - 2:00AM, Monday to Friday
In This Role
Operate a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient material handling
Use RF scanners to pick, verify, and place inventory for order fulfillment and storage
Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders or packing slips
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns
Identify and manage inventory across documentation, including orders, labels, manifests, and bills of lading
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and stay informed on process updates
Monitor and address inventory quality issues through routine checks
Meet productivity targets while efficiently managing resources
Report inventory discrepancies using the ICAR process and ensure proper documentation
Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

2+ years of experience operating an order picker forklift required
High school diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with WMS and Microsoft Excel
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
Required to wear steel-toed boots/shoes at all times during work hours
Willing and able to work overtime as needed
