The Material Handler II supports the Single Serve personnel and is responsible for several production-based duties including but not limited to: moving inventory (both raw and finished goods) in and out of the production area, staging machines with proper materials, and stacking and wrapping finished goods on pallets. The Material Handler II position reports to the Single Serve Leads. This position will receive daily supervision and instructions from the Single Serve Leadership Team (Leads and Production Manager). The Material Handler II position reports to the Single Serve Leads. This position will receive daily supervision and instructions from the Single Serve Leadership Team (Leads and Production Manager). Principal Job Duties: Accurately interpret work orders and other instructions to assure proper materials and specifications are being followed. Ensure that all machines are staged with adequate materials to perform necessary work orders. Execute material changeovers on select machines frequently throughout the shift. Accurately complete all required quality checks and paperwork. Move raw materials from the inventory area into the production area and finished material to shipping area for transport. Operate an electric or manual pallet jack in a safe and proficient manner. Stretch wrap and secure pallets for shipping. Complete RF transactions to ensure tracking and regulatory compliance. Utilize barcode scanning technology to complete transactions of transfers. Maintain a clean and organized working environment on the production floor. Perform other duties as assigned by management; tasks are not exclusive or limited to duties specified on this list. Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements. Follow all required work safety procedures to include wearing all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed. Preferred Qualifications: Forklift/Motorized Pallet Jack certification or ability to become certified 6+ months of previous experience in manufacturing/production environment Ability to organize and manage time effectively Ability to follow a schedule, as well as verbal and written instructions Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to communicate comfortably and work with co-workers in a team environment Ability to display sound logic and attention to details Functions and operates comfortably in a very active and fast-paced environment Must demonstrate excellent listening skills Good oral and written communication skills Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) Ability to read department documents and reports Positive attitude and willingness to learn Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: . We are currently a production facility that operates 24 hours a day 5 days a week but always have the possibility (if sales needs demand) to go 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Current shift work is 1 st Shift working 5:30am-2pm, 2 nd Shift working 1:30pm-10pm and 3 rd Shift working 9:30pm to 6am. May be required to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. regularly. This position is in a plant environment and will include exposure to loud noises, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or touch object or controls. Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, climbing and other active movements. Ability to work all shifts, prolonged period working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive action that entail frequent movements. Must be able to have a secondary backup shift option if our production needs call for a change in shift Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment.

Material Handler As a Material Handler you will be responsible for loading, unloading, processing and storing hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials at a permitted waste treatment facility with supervision. Essential Functions & Requirements: Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, federal, state and local regulations/rules Operates a fork truck and Bob Cat with attachments as well as brooms, shovels, production machines, palletizers, tractor, ladders and stairs Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages Packs finished goods into correct packages, pails and lace finished goods on designated pallets Directs liquid waste through a system of pumps to tanks for storage Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed Performs chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions and other issues Utilizes barcode system equipment to document certain inventory activities Reviews laboratory data to determine proper handling and disposal of materials Utilizes Department of Transportation (DOT) knowledge to match and label inbound materials and for storage and shipping of containers to other sites Uses proper equipment to remove samples of materials for analysis and compatibility checks Operates a hydraulic bailer for cardboard and other materials Keeps operating areas, walls, pipes and floor in a clean and safe condition Utilizes knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations Maintains an understanding of Heritage Coding and labeling systems to handle and manage containers Safely and appropriately utilizes personal protection equipment (PPE), such as Boots, Gloves, Suits, Eye/Ear Protection and Respirator Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education: High-school diploma or equivalent (required) 24/40 hour HAZWOPER Certification (preferred) Experience: 1+ years of related experience (required) Competencies: Ability to develop a working knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations, along with general industry practices Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to lift up to 75lbs in an outdoor environment during a 12-hour shift Ability to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity: Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
